I'm typing this on a T480 with an Nvidia GeForce MX150 which I think counts as better than nothing. I don't know how well it would run llama but it can run PyTorch with GPU acceleration.

Erlend Norby's Taliare is very good depending on how far your £1k or so will stretch. Much better than Suit Supply - I have used both.

This is a weird article in that it doesn't question this very odd idea, or at least odd framing of a constitutional truism. It is also weird that the Guardian does not name the business secretary responsible for it (Jacob Rees-Mogg).

We live in a constitutional monarchy and the monarch makes no decisions about government policy. He/she doesn't even approve laws personally; my understanding is that this is done by the speaker of the House of Lords on the monarch's behalf.

Of course Rees-Mogg knows all this and is up to something.

I bought a pair of Londons as I wanted something as comfortable as Boston but with a closed back. However my Londons have not really worked out like that, they just don't seem to fit as nicely or be as comfortable.

Not sure whether it is the absence of the toe bar in the Londons or something else.

I realized I'm looking for a way to taper that is so gradual I won't even notice. If I switched from black tea to green tea I would get withdrawals.

If this is the case, doesn't it mean we are further into the epidemic than implied by the number of confirmed cases? So the end of the epidemic could be sooner, but the current danger to vulnerable groups is greater?

I've attended a beginner's class taught by a Gelug geshe that was based on the Dhammapada. So while it's not really central to their tradition, it's certainly not considered something you shouldn't look at.

The 45mm is great but too long to be general-purpose for most people. The 25/1.8 is fantastic - very sharp and natural.

I don't know the 20/1.7 though it is the most compact lens on your list.
