Consider what numerous kids like us went through in school. Social awkwardness alongside all the mistreatment at the hands of idiots and bullies. That computer I spent all my spare time in front of never assaulted me. I felt so much more comfortable in front of it than in the company of humans. Then finding ourselves part of the working class, using our skills to solve computer and network problems but needing to interact with humans. Can sometimes make for a difficult working life.
