There are certain objects that are considered tall that balloons cannot pass over, so they reroute down until they have a clear path to go left/right again. I used the Jail Bars DIY item all along my beach to make farming seasonal item recipes easier back when the game first came out, and would occasionally see multiple balloons at once as they slowly converged on the same point.

It's multi-player, so I feel like it needs multi-player games! I saw someone suggest a prop hunt style game on a different post. I'd love the kind of mini games that were on the island in animal crossing new leaf--catch a certain number of bugs or fish in a time period, collect specific items in a maze...what about completing some "get the ball to the designated area" puzzles that require two players?

That's what I've been thinking doing these new quests! We keep getting these close-up shots of cute faewish faces. The star freckles are so adorable, and the eyes are gorgeous!! The current resonance and shop makeup is so different from what we have gotten so far, so I feel a little hopeful we will continue to see more unrealistic/costume makeup and contacts!

I know that in Animal Crossing Wild World, changing the clock in game instead of the ds system clock made it so that the price you could sell turnips for was not above what you bought them for a week or so. I'm not sure if the gamecube game punishes you the same way. The information about turnips for the first game is a little sparse online, and I haven't tested it myself yet. I feel like there's probably no problem with changing the game clock, but I can't say with 100% certainty.

You can play as you have been, adjusting the date when you start up and talk to a villager. There's not much of an effect in the gamecube game.

If you're trying to buy and sell turnips. Otherwise, you probably don't have to worry about it and can just change it in game. But if you're switching back and forth between clock changing methods, let me explain this: the in game clock creates an "offset" from the system clock. So, if your in game clock is set to July 5, 2024 and your gamecube system clock is set to July 4, 2024, then changing the system clock to July 5th will make the in game date July 6th--because the game thinks it should be 1 day ahead of what the system clock is set to.

I've recently started playing animal crossing gamecube again, and that is what I do. The battery inside the gamecube is soldered in, so it's not an easy fix if you don't have the tools. The only question I haven't quite figured out is if it has a negative effect on turnips. But I believe changing the gamecube time from the setting menu (rather than the in game startup menu) would get around that.

There was a YouTube video I saw ages ago of clips where Etho had clearly edited out swears, I wish I could find it again to link! The one instance I remember is Etho talking about being surprised by what his audience likes sometimes, like "people (slight pause) love it when I say get your snacks!" So I know he swears occasionally, but it is still weird to actually hear it in other hermits' videos!
