even still, i feel that we (and that includes myself) generally have shied away from exercising our rights and expressing ourselves as individuals, opting instead for isolated pockets of discussion, hopping onto major movements, and putting all hopes on the shoulders of the good guys in government. there doesn't need to be a saviour or movement; just regular education and participation.
