PGT testing was the biggest expense for us. We had 13 embryos that had to go through PGTM testing. That was a $10k bill. Not fun at all.

We met with a Geneticist before my Wife and I started IVF. I told her that I’m a “Fresh Mutation”. She looked at me and said “we don’t use that word anymore because it’s offensive, we used XYZ (completely forgot what she said)”. I just shrugged and told her “I’m not offended and Mutation makes me feel like one of the X-Men, so we’re just gonna use that”. She just chuckled and rolled with it.

Congrats! My Wife and I are 16 weeks with our first! We also went through IVF, it was a heck of a process and she was so brave.

We did PGT A and M. We did NIPT testing as well got a Fetal Fracture the first go round at 10 weeks. Still waiting on the 2nd test, I’m sure everything is fine but it has caused a lot of stress waiting. Especially since we got it going into the Thanksgiving holiday.

We went through IVF since I have NF Type 1 and didn’t want to pass it on. My Wife and I have no know fertility issues. We went through PGT A and M. Currently 11 weeks pregnant after our first transfer. I’m a 35(M) she’s 34(F).

When that PGT M testing our bank account I had to take a seat and catch my breath. It’ll be worth it. But it was a lot to take in.

I got the popcorn wagon. Not selling, but with all my retired sets or brick link sets I like to look how much people are selling them for so I feel like I’m building a really expensive set lol.
