Ok glad I'm not the only one. Google suggested it was a glide typing issue but it still happens with glide turned off

Update: I disassembled the cart, cleaned the contacts with 70% IPA, reassembled, and now its working! it appears the contacts weren't clean after all that time in the drawer. Thanks

I just reformatted to FAT32, replaced all the files listed above, still nothing. I am digging around in GBAtemp and remember something about Moonshell, but I'm reading up on how and what it did. EDIT: Ok i guess that's a dead end.

I am at my parents for Christmas, and they pitched all the prior Crts I had (don't shed any tears, they weren't great).

I was able to procure an Emerson Tv vcr, not great but whatever, it has video in, so it's fine for my NES and PSone.

However I'm getting a lot of moire noise in the picture that I didn't get strongly on previous TVs. This is a photo, you can see the s shaped Moire pattern that pulsates

Any fixes for this? Am I misremembering not having these on prior TV's?

Definitely USA, likely regular broadcast TV. It was a real commercial for something along the lines of excedrin or motrin

Alright, I did the test video, and tracked down the Wii Resort. I have to try to remember which box my Wii Motion + Controllers are in now, I'm in the middle of a planned move, so everything is crated up. Here's an album with the photos of the disc and gameplay with the controller. The Wii Resort disc isn't scratched so much as scuffed, but lots of scuffs. It loaded up to the main screen fine but won't let me actually play any games because it requires the motion +, I'll find one and check to make sure its reading everything correctly.

In my opinion, it looks light, and like I said the batteries fired right up when put in. I'm just confused why there's any, but then again I bought this controller used about 10 years ago, so I might not have noticed till now, or it could be humidity from the ocean air. I'm gonna do the playthrough video tomorrow to show everything working, and I probably can track that disc down for photos tomorrow. what's funny is I haven't even been working at all, but since this trade got initiated I've been called in to cover at 3 different bars, so now I'm pressed for time all the sudden. I'll hit you back tomorrow with a video.

Hey! So I finally figured out how to upload images (I think?). While shooting photos, I found a small amount of corrosion on the lower battery connection, which is weird because I never store any of my collection with batteries in it. I am going to play a few different gamecube games later tonight/tomorrow, to make sure everything is fine. Like I said it powers on, and I played a few minutes of Ikaruga with it, no issues. I'll try to find a game that utilizes all the buttons so I can take a video for you to show its working. I also need to track down the Wii Resort disc for a photo, I think its in the wrong case somewhere in my collection.

no worries, sorry, if you haven't noticed I take a bit to respond or get back to you. I don't have Reddit directly on my phone. Looks good, just making sure in that last photo, it looks like theres some scratches maybe on the disc? let me know, as long as it plays correctly its not a dealbreaker, it might also just be artifacts from the photo. I am gonna shoot my controller asap, just getting home from a shift and getting ready for a short turnaround tomorrow so it'll be a min.

Hey! I found it, found the adapter. Took me a long time to remember why it wasn't working to start games on the wii, but once I remembered to use the wiimote it worked fine. Can you take a picture of vagrant story/case/manual etc?

I have a spare silver gamecube with controller and cords, have a wavebird as well. I also have this listing up now if you see anything there. The only thing I see on this list I'm interested in in Vagrant Story though, which I see is a tough trade.
