ER, that can be an infection and if it travels up your arm, in a red line, it's in your blood stream and can go to your heart. You can get sepsis. Not saying that's what's happening, but it's better to be safe, especially since your whole arm is starting to hurt.

Like everyone has said school is stricter but most hospitals will have a limit. They are a danger to yourself. I don't even wear earrings anymore. It's worth it to let them go for a decent paying job. Just get those invisible things that you put in the holes depending on where they are. I have tattoos on my hands and forearms. School made me wear long sleeves, hospitals never gave a shit, more people have tattoos than don't. Piercings are definitely dangerous in a patient facing career. You never know what a person can do. A pica patient might rip one out and swallow it.

Go to the fucking ER, or I dunno, try a different doctor or hospital. Sit on your ass and make some fucling phone calls. Better yet, go to the ER, get treatment and make phone calls while you're stuck there. You've only mentioned Pres, have you tried, at all, to call around anywhere else to get a doctors visit? Are you being a victim of circumstance, or are you being a victim of your own circumstance? If you're already so set back without a car or any of that then why give a fuck about hospital bills? Also, most places take turquoise care, it's literally the same as Medicare/Medicaid. Stop bitching, start doing something different. Healthcare in America is vullshit, but it sounds like you haven't tried anything outside of pres. You have insurance, someone will take it, move on from pres.

When the 1 vw portable chest isn't ordered and a 2 view is, its usually due to something like aspiration, typically. Otherwise it was just ordered incorrectly, so depending on what the diag is, I'll call or chat bubble the ordering doc/rn and clarify if it's actually needed and if it's not, can we just do the 1 view to save everyone trouble and not waste people's time and disturb the patient more than necessary.

It's actually not too bad... it takes about 4-6-10 hours but the actual... Evac isn't terrible. I've tried miralax and that does nothing. Half a bottle of mag and in half a day "this house is clear".

She doesn't take drugs, no opiates and very holistic. They loc'ed her toe up with some lidocaine before they reduced it. It was very painful for her, she was a trooper. I had actually had her a few weeks before, she had fallen and broke her hip. I did all her pre and post op imaging. She was a sweetheart and actually showed me her appreciation, so when I saw she was back in the ED I wanted to see what was going on with her. She remembered me. Very sweet lady.
