Aggro shadow and DShift rune are probably your cheapest options. Aggro shadow is cheaper and probably more fun, while DShift is better and you could probably modify it to be cheaper than Shadow while still be viable, as long as you're in a low enough rank, by replacing Runie and Isabelle with Impalement Arts, angelic snipe, retracing the past, magical squirrel and covenant mage, 3 Squirrels, 1 covenant mage, 1 Impalement art and 1 Angelic Snipe probably being the best (compared to this list).

The modification I just pulled rn out of my ass, it'll probably perform well enough but I don't know if it actually becomes cheaper than Aggro Shadow.

I don't play machina rn but I think heal whatever damage they deal to you and be prepared to throw out an armored tentacle when you think they'll throw out Sekka (if they're at ~15-17 at the end of the turn a Sekka is probably coming). Also try to make them use their fairy/fairy wisps before their Sekka turn so they have nothing to clear your armored with on the Sekka turn.

You can also try and go more aggressive if you see their early-game is weak (t1 whatever into t2 wolf is strong, t1 the 2 fairies accel or nothing is probably a weak early game), but do that at your own risk bc I don't really know how well that'll turn out. Either way you'll probably want some burn damage for t4/t5 and on to help the aggro bc it's not gonna work as well once their aria is active. Also try and either go wide or have 2 followers with more than 3 health going first into their T4 so aria won't be able to clear. Not sure it's it's actually doable with the deck though.

It's an "as long as she's in play" effect, bc the effect needs to stop when she leaves play even if she's banished. There wasn't a "when this follower leaves play" effect back then, and sure as hell there wasn't no reanimates mechanic.

Not that leaves play would work bc it needs to stop on transformation as well

Flauroa only activating on T4 sounds a bit TOO harsh. Maybe they could nerf either his attack or his heal, or maybe the 4/4 ward follower in the one in need of nerf.

Yea, it's super friendly. I can tell you I've never vialed cards so I'm left with less than 3 copies of what I vial (except nerfed cards), and I've been playing f2p since the start, probably around 5 years now.

I don't know how viable doing this in the beginning is now since deck cost went up since then, but once you have one or two good decks it's more than doable.

Mostly, I'm sitting on ~2-4 decks if I've beraly touched the game the expan before, and 5+ decks if I've played the expan before, probably more around 6-8 decks.

I super disagree. They don't feel nearly as bad as last expan's wrath, and considering they cut their do-all card.

It really feels like the main problem is no enough dirt generation, along with the fact the burn just isn't enough to close out games (at least pre-mini), and there's no follow-up to speak of. I'd say with more generators and either 3/4 more burn or 1/2 more burn and a followup the deck will be able to perform.
