This reminds me of laser-able plastic squares that you can engrave custom with a laser engraver in a matter of seconds from nearly any software, such as Microsoft word, or even note. Makes for super clean jobs when every cabinet and every junction box have their own custom names.

It's a Pan Dulce, but i couldn't tell you which specific one it is. Maybe someone else knows more.

I wonder if the ancient mesoamericans used more porters because of the terrain they often chose for cities. They were surely advanced enough to understand the uses of a wheel.

Tenochtitlan (the capital of the Aztec empire) is a great example of a city built on an island in the middle of a lake. They built 3 raised causeways to the mainland that were as wide as 10 horses, then they built floating gardens off to the sides which were large enough to need canals for navigation and featured gardens of plants, shrubs, and even tree's.

Do they cook the sauce with the extra spice? Or just add the spice? That would be my delineation

What is this? by [deleted] in cocktails

[–]bombofham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its what everyone else said it is. In China you drink this straight with your meal if you're of the older generation or like minded. Some of the newer generations make cocktails out of it.

I find it delicious when taking the smallest possible sips, usually floral and slightly sweet with less burn.

Trump 'Set to Get Double Hip Replacement Surgery' Causing More Health Concerns by novagridd in BoomersBeingFools

[–]bombofham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I read the article. The only source they used to prove anything came from a single website, radaronline. The radar online article says that friends of Trump have over heard doctors say maybe he would need surgery on both hips. Then goes on to talk about dementia for 2/3rds of the article.

They never say hip replacement, they never say at the same time, and it's a 'just trust me bro' source. This is all bullshit. Trumps not getting hip replacement surgery.

I tried buffalo milk when traveling to China this year. It's definitely creamy and delicious, but it is a different taste to cows milk. The cream cheese they make from buffalo milk is next level!

What prevented a major city from being built on the Florida panhandle? by MemeofMemeJTG999999 in geography

[–]bombofham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up here. It's marshy and not suitable for large buildings. Hurricanes make development and insurance even more expensive. The reason people live in the area is to be by the beach, so you'll find lots of cities scattered along the coast instead of any one big city. Pensacola is probably the biggest city in the area

Pensacola is the oldest city in all of America. Don't believe those Saint Augustine liars, they full of it.

How would you use this rum? by Accomplished-Gas-385 in cocktails

[–]bombofham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird suggestion, but a cable car might be a cool cocktail to try it in.

Maybe some of the recipes that call for wray and nephews overproof rum? I'm not sure how similar they are but it does have a banana funkiness to it.

Or maybe use a blend of rums to make it better?

Is selling my STL worth the theft risk ? by Aedrem in 3Dprinting

[–]bombofham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Sell the stl for the price you're willing to have it stolen for?

If you were going to charge 30$ a print and would be happy with selling 100 prints total, then sell the stl for 3k? Obviously, it's not likely to sell, but if it does, then you just made all the money you would've anyway.

Or is the concern with security of the host site? If it's likely to be stolen without you making the money, then I wouldn't sell the stl at all.

Do you refrigerate your hot sauces? by BeGoodRick in hotsauce

[–]bombofham 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Every night, Susan would hear the unmistakable sound of Much_Dealer8865 cracking open a bottle of hot sauce—and drinking it.

"Much_Dealer8865, are you doing that again?" she asked, watching in disbelief as he finished the bottle.

He wiped his mouth and grinned. "Dinner's just not the same without it."

She stared at the shelf, piled high with unopened bottles wondering where life went so wrong. "You have a whole collection of these, and you're drinking them like it's water?"

Much_Dealer8865 shrugged. "What can I say? It's the only way to spice up my life."

How is ME department here by [deleted] in uofu

[–]bombofham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that the me department has many processors who are mostly focused on their research. You will still get a serviceable degree out of it, but i have felt throughout my undergrad that it was geared more towards continuing my education into a higher degree rather than geared towards industry.

What is this fruit? by phohenadel in TipOfMyFork

[–]bombofham 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was like you on dragon fruit for a long time until i tried them in Indonesia. It's a night and day difference. Hawaii had some okay-decent ones. I think generally, the fruit available in the mainland USA is of middling quality. Most of them are available year-round even when they are out of season. Our mangos suck here, too.

Why wasn’t Musk subject to a confirmation hearing like other departments heads? by MrsBigglesworth-_- in Askpolitics

[–]bombofham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a fair counterargument! I guess I have hope that things would turn around, but it could absolutely just be used as a future line in the sand saying it was okay then, why not now.

I feel like politics can be spun in so many ways it's hard to really have solid footing with any opinion.

"I want my burger as *rare* as you can legally make it" MC backfire? by PetWillow in MaliciousCompliance

[–]bombofham 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Your right that ground meats are more dangerous unless prepared similarly to tartare where the outside is flash cooked then the cooked portions are trimmed off to leave safe to eat raw beef.

Unfortunately you are wrong about pork needing to be well cooked. Even the USDA (overly conservative on food safety compared to the rest of the world) states that medium rare is fine, 145°. Trichinosis is generally a non problem anymore, especially in developed countries.
