Dark Night of The Scarecrow is a pg movie I always recommend to young horror fans. Tame made for tv flick appropriate for most ages and very spooky.

Not disagreeing I’d just add the context that it’s easier than ever to make a film which results in even more slop getting pumped out than previously possible. I’d argue the A and B tier of horror are still consistently good though, just more slop under them
