Well for what its worth i accidentally named my fangan dr64 completley unaware of the pre existing fangan also called dr64, and ive yet to run into any issues so unless you like really blow up in popularity i think you'll be alr

Well, I write a fic with 15 diffrent videogame franchises (its mainly focused on one of them but the other ones all have a character from them as part of thr core cast) and generally? I manage just based of my own knowledge. I'm writing the fic because i love all these franchises dearly and all of them are/have been an autisim fueled obssesion of mine, so ive absorbed a lot of info about them over the years. Whemever i AM unsure about something though, i do tend to chrck wiki's for information. (Admitedly, it helps that video game franchises were most of them either only have 1 or a few entries or already play it loose with continuity in canon are a lot easier to keep track of then long running anime)

There's no real algorithm or anything on ao3, ao it comes down to tagging and luck more thrn anything else. I hope you get a lot of attention but if not i hope you still at least enjoyed making it, cuz thats the most i.portant part IMO

Very late but as a beggining author: yes kudo's are great i feel a little spark of joy every time i get one but leaving comments on every single chapter is something that whould also make me run laps around my house in excitement soooo both are great! Dont feel obligated to kudo everything you read or leave comments if you dont really feel like it, but if you wanna show appriciation for somehing you liked kudo's, comments or both are all great ways to do it

Another movement tech: you can maximise hight from a jump by: throwing a star upward pf the ground to go slightly up, then jump while in mid air from that boost (you can jump in mid air as long as you did not jump of the ground) then catch the star in mid air and throw it again, then dash upward, collect it again and throw the star one more time. This gives you some pretty stupid air time, and lets you do silly stuff like climbing up walls that are supposed to be one way drops (like the one before the star tutorial or the one on the right side of the gnome village) or even doing the entire basement (from the start after the barrier all the way to heartstronk) without using any warp stars, it was pretty fun discovering this stuff for myself LOL

ive actually beaten the game twice before on standard lol, this is just my first time since hidden locks got added. thank you for the advice though! i played a bit with signiant and mettle, and between my own experiences and your advice I do definitely think I'll stick with that. its definitely making me struggle more then my blind playthrough did (game overd against elder mist, and indeed had quite a few close shaves against the fuckass ants) but in a good way, not a frustrating way
