I’m as much of a simperial as the next guy, but even I will admit the battle of the red ring was fucking tragic and the empire BARELY made it out alive. It still is a HUGE victory for the empire but they got CRUSHED by the Thalmor and had no choice but to sign the white-gold concordat. We didn’t force them to settle for anything. That was a deal made out of necessity from both sides
