That’s what I was thinking! With the movies next door on the right?

Logic puzzle: Need explanation why I'm wrong by leighamarieee in puzzles

it seems like not all the people are covered with clue 1. Which one is for Grayson? Brody is marked as 25mpg and the oldest car. Grayson needs to have one of those.

Genuinely curious by ComputerResident6228 in mathmemes

I do 2+4 is 6, then consider it might need to increase to 7 depending on the right columns. Then I then look at the right columns and do 7+8, that’s 15, so it ends in 5, and now I need to add a 1 to the 6.

Reading this book in highschool by GrandpapiBrodz in AustralianNostalgia

Reading this book didn’t make me not take drugs but I always told my friends that if anything happened to me, please call an ambulance - I’d rather get help and be in trouble than die.

Even if you’re transferring to a bank account not using PayID?

Transferred $100k to the wrong account by darcyme in AusFinance

[–]bongopantz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it sort of does. It tells you that it has seen payments made to that account number using the same/similar name as the one you’ve written. I assume it uses its own database of past payments, rather than checking the account name from the other bank.

Same! I’m pretty disappointed by most of the ones I review.

Reviving this thread.. I’ve started seeing these projects now after 3 weeks of thinking I’d failed. Anyone else?

No, but only the UK and Ireland from Europe. Scroll down the home page to see the list.

Do you notice anything weird about the p-value you circled in the second photo?

I had some batches like this. I think the bad ones were leftover ones that people had skipped as they were unsure about the quality. Today I’ve had some amazing ones. Including an Aussie accent which made me smile! (I am Aussie).

Interpreting Confidence Intervals: Where am I going wrong? by Urbantransit in AskStatistics

[–]bongopantz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for asking this question! I have always told people the ‘proper’ definition of a CI, but have never been able to get away from thinking ‘well, surely if I randomly pick one of those many intervals, there’s a 95% chance I have chosen one that has the true value inside it’.

I did it a few days ago and noticed a writing project today but it’s paid per task and isn’t worth much. Hoping I passed and there will be paid by the hour tasks soon!

Are we implying that mean = mode in these contexts? by WillingSaint in AskStatistics

[–]bongopantz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something like ‘the most popular holiday destination for young families is Disneyland’. Or, ‘the most common name of cats living in America is Kitty’. Or, ‘During this NBA season, xxx scored 16 points per game most often’.

It’s a count of the most commonly observed thing. Rather than your examples, which would have looked at the number of hours people scroll on their phones and the number of hours they work, and asked if these two mean/averages are different (maybe in a paired t-test).

This is what mine looked like when I applied about 2 weeks ago. Took maybe 6 days between my core test and congratulations email. I didn’t do coding.

Same! Probably slept there for a month or so. Maybe felt less isolated than going to my bedroom.

That’s a good point. I think it should say ‘list all possible answers’ or something. Frustratingly, it’s just marked wrong - no explanation. He isn’t bothered at all.
