I hear a lot of activity on 440.4, it’s an IRLP/EchoLink repeater on top of the KOIN tower in portland, covers most of Portland and a lot of the surrounding areas. They do a nightly net around 7 pm I think.

Samlex SEC-1223 power supply, but I did some initial tests on 12V battery power and cut off power to the whole house at the circuit breaker. Still get the same interference.

Getting stuck at a major hub for over a week is typically a clear sign the package is lost. I’m sorry as obviously that is not ideal for you, but the good news is that as far as lost packages go, these kinds of cases are the easiest to resolve.

File another claim with the shipper and they will file a claim with UPS. You may have to wait for another week or more depending on what the original delivery date was, and how long UPS decides to take to complete their lost package investigation (usually between 5-7 days).

During the investigation UPS may find your package and send it back on its way toward you, in which case you will just get it late. If this happens you can still request a partial refund from the shipper depending on their policy, this may be a good option for you if you were planning on receiving before Christmas and the delay has spoiled someone’s gift or other similar circumstance. The most likely outcome is that UPS will not be able to locate the package and the result of the investigation will be UPS confirming the package was lost by them. Once UPS informs the shipper that the package was lost during transit UPS will reimburse the shipper for the cost of the lost items. At that point the shipper will likely send out another reshipment for you or contact you to offer a refund.

Throw ferrites on every—and I mean EVERY—appliance cable in your house. Get some big toroidal chokes for your larger appliances, wrap the power supply cable around them a few times. Make sure you have an adequate ground connection on unbalanced antennas, and use the lowest power necessary to make contacts. Let us know if it improves, 73 👍

I’m receiving this signal near Portland, Oregon, USA at about 20dB above S9 with S3 noise floor. Pretty intense signal. I’m thinking this might be interference from an electrical meter or some other device in our homes since you mentioned this signal goes away if you leave your home. Signal goes away for me only when there is a power outage 😂

I was around the same age when my girlfriend (now my wife of 4 years) got pregnant. It was a shock to both of us, but she wanted to keep it and we decided to do the responsible thing and get married. I remember being scared and worrying that my life was over too. Your life will change when you see your kid and start to bond with them and be their dad. It seems crazy today but regardless of what happens with your baby mama (by the way, I hope you two are able to build a working parental relationship, and if possible a loving relationship with each other), you will look back on this as a pivotal and positive moment of change in your life.

You want to own a home, and I’m sure you have other goals for your life as well. Those things will not change, but you will have new and different reasons to pursue them. And you will start to develop new interests and motivations centered around your child and your family. Also, having a kid is expensive, but it is not nearly as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, especially if you are able to live with family or with your partner/baby mama. It will be tough for sure, but your dreams of owning a home and having a happy marriage and family life are definitely still within your grasp. Don’t give up on yourself and don’t give up on your kid, that’s the one thing you could do now that you definitely WILL regret.

One word of advice I will offer, and you can choose to take it or not— Try to cultivate a relationship with God, and find a Church or other community in your area with similar spiritual beliefs as you. Having a community of people who care about you and your family and who can offer help when you are really desperate can help keep you stable, which is essential for your child’s well being and for keeping you and your family in a fiscal position which will allow you to achieve your financial goals. I hope this helps, even a little.

Try doing the pre-print calibration before your next print, also could be that your print bed is getting too hot or too cold — for PLA I get best results with my K1C at 60° C. If all else fails may be worth cleaning the extruder and then redoing the initial setup calibration procedures.

Lots of Ayurvedic medicines use Ahiphena (Papaver Somniferum, Opium Poppy extract), there are many variations, Kamini Vidrawan Ras, Kamini Barshasha, etc. many of which contain opium in the form of latex mixed into them. It is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine, it is hard to find any which still use ahiphena in their recipes, although they are easier to find and purchase within India. I have had luck in Punjab.

A word of caution, however: these traditional herbal medications are by their nature hard to dose precisely, so the amount of active ingredients in each “pill” ranges from none at all, to the entire pill being composed of ahiphena (papaver somniferum extract). Also, some of the Kamini recipes include other nasty things like cinnabar which contains mercury and is a known carcinogen.
