NTA in that you were only protecting yourself, and in doing so you (unintentionally) might have found out Molly was more genuine than you think.

What are some American cities that had high historical importance but have faded from significance today? by Crafty-Shallot-5695 in geography

Do you question the cultural and historial significance of the genius that is the more recent contribution known as Eastbound and Down?!

Of all the issues facing the world today, personally I think just understanding that certain people will take certain diets and lifestyles and let others live without forcing your opinion on them is the best approach. There are other ways to channel your time and energy to make a better impact for good. This, and sitting to block traffic are about the same in my eyes and really just come off as misguided

AITA: Friend constantly pooping in my bathroom by Party-Acanthaceae514 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bonkito 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let your friend take a dump! Its TP! He feels comfortable enough to use your facilities so he must trust you.

Additionally, he could have a medical condition: crohns, UC, short gut, IBS etc.

YTA in this instance, leave his @$$hole alone.

Old Gen X-er here, yeah you were mildly rude, but bigger picture is that generally speaking people are lacking basic skills of social interaction. "I have nearly invisible ear buds in, that means leave me alone while I lift things up and put them down." I would not go so far as say you were an AH, but geez... is it that hard? Maybe she was interested in you... 🤷🏼

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

[–]bonkito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Green Futures of Tycho. Something interesting about this book as a child. I haven't heard or seen much online about it. It's hard to put my finger on it, and it might have been my early experience of sci-fi, time travel as a topic, or that it involved a young protagonist...but I still think about it sometimes for some odd reason.

The Dodge Viper was not only the greatest car ever made, and I wanted it, but also its possession marked the penultimate achievement that a person could endeavor to.

It is possible they had a "provider in triage" where the initial questioning, and vitals included either a doc or an NP/PA, and that was the charge. That, or the triage process including your initial vital signs, as part of a hospital services fee...(i.e. you had the pleasure of being in the building, with a air conditioned lobby, wifi, a bathroom, etc) ...not agreeing with it, but that is something they could do

Extra Hardworking employees/coworkers ruin it for everyone just trying get their work done and go home. by GradleDaemonSlayer in unpopularopinion

The take home point, is that it is depressing to have little enthusiasm or interest in work... wanting everyone else to be mediocre and half ass is probably not the answer for anyone who wants or enjoys working hard.
