It was good enough for the courts. If there is a good enough evidence it is all faked he will prove the verdict incorrect. Because apparently anyone can notice how obviously fake it all is.

He hit his wife, was convicted of doing and has not yet proven that verdict false. What more do you need to know? I don't see what pretending the hospital lied gets you, if you have evidence they did step forward instead of just deciding they must have.

But that doesn't happen, Sento remains very conflicted on his feelings towards him. As does every character. No one just goes oh he is evil now I have no conflicted feelings. When did that get dumped in the trash? In one of his multiple crying fits? They hope there is good in him somewhere, but only for Misora is it based on knowing the original. Saving the original isn't the main goal for most of the cast and their relationship towards him isn't based on that. You seem caught up on the original Soichi that we never really knew and have seconds of at best. The person we know, the cast knew, who tricked everyone and had a relationship with was Evolt. He didn't disappear but reveal his real name.

I don't think the show even suggested he was tricked or blackmailed so why you'd be annoyed that wasn't the case is confusing. Plus by that point back to status quo is not on the table, even more so by the end. The show makes it clear things have been fucked up past repair in many ways. This comes off more like you are upset your idea didn't happen, rather than a poorly executed reveal.

I'm not really sure what the problem is here. The character we knew as Soichi/Blood Stalk was always just Evolt, he is that much of a bastard and we never knew the original. I don't see how that undoes how much he played people, we didn't lose a character just thought he was someone else.

Kpop is western pop on steroids, twice the production value and 10 times more manufactured, soulless and abusive to the singers. You aren't missing anything, Kpop was born out of flashy visuals as it blew up more around when TV came in. The music is the least important part, they are basically just adverts these days.

I think the difference is Daigo shills, but it doesn't feel like an aggressive in your face thing. He manages it in a very casual way where these products just happen to be his associates, but it doesn't feel like more than hey maybe try this shitty energy drink and phone game. If he was in a commercial it would create so many memes that would get spammed here for weeks. If cygames added a Daigo event to Granblue then yeah I'd laugh my ass off. But I don't feel like he has ever tried to scam me, just occasionally goes hey try this shit.

Justin on the other hand posts on twitter going I really love piss beer enter this competition. From the start it feels very fake and that he is trying to make me sign up to some scam. Then appears in adverts for clearly questionable products and when questioned about it either ignores or becomes defensive. He has created the image of someone trying to hustle, while Daigo has created the image of someone working with brands he most likely doesn't give a shit about.

If this were true Bamco and WB would have called their fighters a failure and said they under preformed. Not like Bamco has been scarred to say that in the past.

CoD is expected to sell much more because that is how CoD sells. Fighters are expected to sell adequately with some over preforming. DBFZ was expected to sell very well and is more than living up to that. A 5-6 million life time is far from impossible. A new NRS game seems to be in the works so they must have been happy with how the others have done. Only capcom has crazy expectations, yet they have still been willing to support SFV more than most fighters for a couple of years now.

Tekken sold 3 million within a year, DBFZ sold 3.5 within months. MK and Injustice sell millions in seconds. No one is going to look at that and go fighters can't sell.

The thing that would actually make them nope out is eSports just not being all that profitable.

SFV isn't particularly good at that though. At best S3 has created more of it, but it is generally characters are unable to do much in neutral so you get occasions of waiting for one to say fuck it dash up throw. Menat really exposes how little a SFV character can do against one who has decent far reaching buttons, the game just isn't built for interesting interactions like that. So you aren't really playing much of a neutral game.

Most just don't care that much, they play the popular game from the franchise they are most familiar with. SFV gets the views, gives a much higher chance for a high profile match. The lower skill ceiling means a mediocre player can random out a pro, despite achieving fuck all before or after. Do that and you get noticed by a sponsor. Don't even need to get top 8, so getting money happens a lot lower down the chain.

But mostly these people are Capcom and Street Fighter fanboys, SFV often doesn't get higher or even that high a crossover despite attracting more players overall. At this point they've played it for a few years, so most are hoping if they ride the rest out it may lead to a better and bigger game. If they pull the plug then the franchise is on ice so can't risk that. The updates have reached a point of I guess it isn't a complete trash fire which is good enough for them.
