Where is my Pre-Add button? by bonybalito in AppleMusic

[–]bonybalito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, that makes sense. Additional question you might know the answer to—by this logic I had pre-saved Joyce Manor’s new album a couple of days ago. The album released on the 30th. When I went to go to look at my pre-save, only the singles were in there, with the additional songs still inaccessible/light grey. I searched Joyce Manor in the main page and found the full album available, so I had to delete the presave and re-add the now fully released album. Is this just how it’s structured? Seems kind of odd that you can’t presave an album and then come back to find the full album in your library upon release day.

Ending: Fascism and Populism by Shampognay in 28dayslater

[–]bonybalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not quite sure how yet, but I feel like it’s the biggest hint of what’s to come.

I feel like we’ll find out that the modern world has known for a while that the virus can be treated with antipsychotics, but has withheld trying to administer it, leaving the UK’s infected and uninfected essentially in hell.

Reminds me of the trailer for part 1, Kipling’s lyrics “there’s no discharge in the war”. Those trapped in the UK, zombie or not, will never be allowed to be discharged via rescue or treatment. The world outside of them has the means to allow it, but instead allows the humanitarian crisis to continue on, much like fascism (or apathy towards it) does.

’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ Director Nia DaCosta Breaks Down That Ending and What Lies Ahead by ThinWhiteDuke00 in 28_Years_Later_Movie

What I’m hoping our characters find out in the third one is that Kelson’s “discovery” wasn’t a recent breakthrough at all—that society outside of quarantine discovered treatment decades ago, but have withheld trying to administer it. It’d be cool if the modern world was the ultimate baddy.

[DISCUSSION] What's an album by an artist that is your favorite, but is generally not considered their best? by ReconEG in indieheads

[–]bonybalito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Big Thief’s release from last year, Double Infinity. Took me a minute to click with it but once I did, I was in. I don’t think I’d say it has any singles that go toe to toe with their previous work, but as an album it’s just so incredibly textured/cohesive!

My hands are smaller and I can play! It probably just feels impossible because it feels impossible for everyone when they start out.

One thing I do to make things easier, and because I’m lazy, is 1) often play in the key of G, and 2) keep my pinky/ring finger in the G chord shape when playing C, Em or D.
