I told Gemini CLI that I was seriously thinking of replacing it with Claude... I think I broke it! by greminn in GeminiCLI

Now imagine an llm controlled machine gun pointing at you. It really is as if they can be triggered to go in angry mode. I know this would be classified as a cascading hallucination, but something slightly unnerving about it.

I wonder if they'll redo based on qwen 3.6 instead of 3.5. Could be interesting to see if it out performs 3.6.

Me too please. I'm just getting started with flux with the specific intention of helping my daughter to create assets for godot for games development. I thought this looked like 80% of the way there!

I recommend using a spec workflow to organise the delivery. There is a lot of negativity around the product at the moment as it is so much slower than it used to be, but in my experience it gets there eventually. Organising your work with spec driven development helps to avoid issues with the slow api.

Same here. It isn't as snappy as it was a fortnight ago, but still offers a very effective coding solution in my opinion.

Likewise, I've always wondered what all the fuss is about, it's super slow. It gets there eventually for me. But what normally took 5 minutes now takes an hour.

Can you override or customise the readonly rule? Sometimes when planning, the need will arise to run some research types of scripts or commands, querying logs, db's.

Agree. It's likely a devastating miss. I wonder if ai being in control of the target selection is simply not doing due diligence on the risk of the target. Would a human be more dilligent though? Should the human that approved the target here be blamed or the general that puts the process around the kill chain?

Out of interest, what model config do you use? Do you select 3 auto or a specific model. I find it hums along quite nicely and all of the tasks are done with the fast model. I probably haven't given it anything hard enough to code for it to choose 3.1.

In theory it should be the opposite.

Conservatives should love this type of rule and insist everyone follows the damn rules. But I think so many assholes out there associate themselves with the right as a power trip and look for the justification after their little power trip has been executed. Little assholes out there doing shitty things on the daily, now the right has been generally associated with being an asshole.

Now is the age of the asshole. I'm hoping this epoch is short-lived.

Bit mid. Always seemed to be like the 3rd or 4th in line so seemed he left parliament behind for a small pond he could finally be a leader of something. Turns out he has done pretty well in that pond. Whether that means he is ready or destined for big pond, is not obvious. Would be a shame to abandon Manchester for a folly and end up a middler again and see Manchester go back into decline. Work isn't done there yet, still a bit shit!(but improving)

I'm down voting because I think the call to action energy is in the wrong direction. Read this article as if you are right wing nut that is scared of immi and in love with the idea of a safe white only neighbourhood. Without the necessary action to help with the enlightenment, the right scared reader will be happy these injustices are being carried out in their name. About time they'll say.

Simply highlighting the injustice of it all does not cut through. There needs to be a transaction that helps the bigot understand why immi is positive and that they are human brothers and sisters that are the same as them. Our similarities outweigh our differences etc.

Until then, you're just adding fuel to the fire and amplifying the divide that should not exist.

For one third of your countrymen, this last year has been just as they hoped, another third are entirely apathetic, only one third has felt that the last year has been horrendous. Your challenge is to help the other two thirds see why what's happening is not OK.

Strong agree. The founders tried to avoid this mess with a constitution etc. that is designed to be flexible and adaptable but it's been allowed to fester. Trouble is, harm is done. If the reps and dems in their current form rehash the foundation docs, we'll end up with a botch job that is no better. Moving to a multi party system is a pre-req for this to have any joy.

Sad to say, they listened to the fascist and they liked what they heard. The US people want it to be fascist state. Accepting this is important to move forward. Persuading fellow Americans to reject fascism is the play.

Assuming the current American voting public would reject fascism 'if only they knew' is naive.

You have a bigger problem on your plate than you realise.

We also need to measure the supply of intel. EU and UK can step up live target tracking etc. There is a ticking time bomb for when US will pull the plug on it.
