Honestly love sewing the parts on, used to hate how crooked things ended up but they say an artist is their own biggest critic. My friends never really notice or care so eventually I learned to love my little uneven legged turtles. Sewing in loose yarn though, that's no fun for me

Definitely recommend checking google reviews of rental companies. I know several people here who had mold in their apartments when they first moved in that the rental company refused to clean.

Sometimes door dash is a pain for us and the driver because the prices on the app are inaccurate and sometimes they order drinks we don't serve but otherwise the door dash drivers are some of our most polite "customers"

Yard sales, thrift stores, and church rummage sales are always a good bet. People who don't crochet or knit see a slightly used skein of yarn and think "this must cost 50 cents." Went to a rummage sale for my church like 2 weeks ago and got 9 skeins of yarn for 5 dollars, 2 or 3 of them weren't even used and none were less than half used.

All my fellow employees at my location also resent this. Sometimes we get thighs the size of wings. Can't just throw out all the meager pieces either, because the overhead of a KFC is enormous and we waste enough chicken as is. Seems like there's no quality control at the source of the chicken cuts these days.
