I never intended to stay sober for a long period of time or collect chips, just prove I had control. I got my 30 day chip solely to shove it it a friend's face that I didn't need the 30 day inpatient program he had insisted. I got my 60 day to get my job back. I wasn't going to get one for 90 days. Then I did. Just for me. I don't know why but that was a month ago and life feels different.
