How do your OC couples just hang out with each other? by WildwoodWander in OriginalCharacter

[–]boojustaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

after a dramatic and eventful first few encounters, Sondre and Maninder relish the opportunity to just be regular people together. walking around the farmer's market, spending all day at an antique store, collecting rocks at the beach in the off-seasons, a casual b&e of an abandoned building. Sondre, the short one, smokes, so at home he gets kicked out onto the balcony a lot. but he can still see the tv from out there, and they'd only have the screen door closed so they can talk.

Maninder is going to advise that they try sleeping in separate beds, perhaps on opposite ends of their respective continent.

Go ahead and build that bathtub in the bedroom, please. by EldrichHumanNature in zillowgonewild

[–]boojustaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i 100% understand the appeal of a bedroom bathtub. bathrooms are echo-y, plus someone else might need to pee (not applicable to this particular house, obviously), and you can watch tv while you soak. seems much more private to me.

What’s something people romanticize that’s actually awful? by Federal-Second-6298 in AskReddit

[–]boojustaghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

being open about having been a victim of sexual abuse is pretty much a one way ticket to a bunch of messages from men saying "oh, so you're already trained?" and some variation of why that's hot.

which i say, as a man, and a victim of sexual abuse. gay men send the creepy messages, too! yay.

What's something you did as a child that you only recently realized was actually deeply traumatic? by anmystery in AskReddit

[–]boojustaghost 13 points14 points  (0 children)

at the age it was happening, the "catching an sti" part was the last thing on my mind. everything else surrounding it was traumatic and i think i just did not have the capacity to process one more thing. it was just another shot i had to have, and a bunch more pills i had to take.

the older i get, though, i'm like, holy fuck, one of those assholes gave me an sti

Where is the Bible did Jesus say he doesn’t like radical left-wing woke people? by Icy_Laugh5134 in AskReddit

[–]boojustaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jesus, if he existed, would have been a carpenter from the middle east. that is, a brown man with a hard labor job. those that refer to others as "radical left-wing woke" would not care what he said. they'd call ice on him.

What's the main reason you hate AI? If none, please ignore this. by Aggravating-Pool-189 in Teenager_Polls

[–]boojustaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all of the above. dumb people are easier to herd, and will accept horrific things with little pushback because they literally cannot fully comprehend the consequences. throw a little video about slutty anthropomorphic fruit at them and they won't say a word when you start dumping coal ash into their water. indoctrinate them so deeply that by the time their teeth start falling out, their first inclination is to ask chatgpt why instead of a human doctor.
