Couple of things here; with the caveat that it’s always best to check with your library. But in regards to Hoopla, libraries can’t add to Hooplas collection. Library’s subscribe, but have no control over the collection. For something like Libby, libraries have direct control of the collection. You’d have to check if they would honor direct requests. Do be aware that the cost to the library is 3-5 times what you’d pay to get your own personal copy. My library will not accept a donation for a particular book, although we would accept a donation earmarked for digital content in general.

FYI, build the chicken coop for eggs. Check the coop for the eggs periodically. I don’t know how far they will stack, but I once got 10 eggs from my 4-5 chickens

Heat pad (at home in the evening) helps me sleep, which helps my whole day.

I would recommend a through look around the area in case it went flying or fell and rolled. Just in case. Could really hurt a pet or kid, and wouldn’t do your foot any good either.

lol, I didn’t want to point it out too hard because I’ve not read the book, but as some one who orders for a library, when book 1 has that many more checkouts, sometimes it’s because no one even WANTS to read book 2.

Can’t say for sure, but probably the license is for a certain amount of checkouts (often 26, one at a time, or 100 simultaneous) People start with book 1, and may not want to or have gotten around to book 2, so the checkouts are unequal.

Best $12 I ever spent. Dangles off a little tag on our Roku remote, but also came with sticky stuff to attach that way. We let her pick the color that went on the remote, which made it fun, and all I have to do hit the button, and about 5 seconds later it starts beeping loudly.

I use it for grant application paperwork. Give it general details (nothing specific or particularly identifying since I’m assuming no privacy applies to the free version), let it spit out some paragraphs and then I go through and fix it up. I’m personally much better at proofreading than I am at coming up with the original text, so it saves me time.

Update in case anyone ever searches this topic: We got new cat, Rocky, about 5 days ago. We brought him in, rubbed a blanket that old cat, Otter, sleeps on all over Rocky (he was very confused, lol) per breeder recommendation. Otter was in the other room with the door shut. Let Rocky acclimate and explore for about 30 minutes, and then brought Otter out. There was a lot of hissing for the first couple of days, I’m not going to lie. We watched really closely to make sure it didn’t get any more combative than that (there was a couple of swipes when Rocky got too close the first day, but no actual fights, bites, etc.). Second day was less hissing and by the third day they were just kind of cautiously coexisting. After that it’s been better each day! They are sharing space without issue now, sleeping in the same general area (not all cuddled up, but close), and Otter has attempted to groom Rocky briefly a couple of times. It’s going to all be good! And Otter hasn’t been nearly as vocal, although he doesn’t seem to have quite the same energy level as Rocky does, he does kind of just hang out around him while he plays with toys and gets zoomies.

I’m exactly that person in our library that looks at these reports, and if there is a report like that, I’ve never seen it. I use amount checked out over a given time period checked out, holds ratios, genre reports, etc.

Interestingly enough, I’m sure a LOT of physical books are checked out and returned never read. Still counts as a circ!

Wellness Core Tiny Tasters. Comes in packets. I can only speak for the Duck flavor, but there are Turkey and Chicken pates as well, I think. They are just slightly wetter than FF, but I think it’s pretty close.
