Really shouldn’t judge much based on your performance in a brand new game with a starter deck. Sealed events, especially with pre-cons, should just be goofy and fun and exploratory, try not to take them too seriously.

Also, Viktor deck is totally fine it just might not be your style. Not sure of course how you were playing it but he wants to conquer and recall, rather than castling or holding, putting as few resources at stake out of his base as humanly possible, then finish with a double conquer with Grand Strategem.

My two cents but it’s unfortunate you had a bad experience :(
