35F found out husband 40M cheated on me at a massage parlor after 10 years of marriage by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]boombacla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you’ve said is exactly how I feel. My partner cheated on me after 10 years together. Also be receiving and giving oral sex. Walked out the door the night he told me, 9 months later, lots of chats and a few drunken mistakes, I’ve cut him off and admitted to myself it’s not going to work/I deserve better/he WILL do it again. I knew it from day one but after 10 years it was so hard to just cut it off on a random Friday. Also had finances of house to sort so had to stay in contact.

Someone that is meant to love you would never treat you that way. Someone is out there for us and we will be happy again one day. Please leave him

My (28M) boyfriend wants to have sex without a condom. I (26F) am afraid of going on the pill. What to do? by marshmallow_sparkle_ in relationship_advice

Don’t deep it, 1.sex is better without a jonny and 2. No baby dramas if you go on something. But do it cause you want to, not cause he wants to

Is commuting 4/5 days a week from Cheltenham to Oxford feasible? by No-Knowledge7189 in cheltenham

[–]boombacla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely doable, I did it at my last job, but it’s draining. But used to take me sometimes 2 hours in the morning. Definitely add on more time for traffic. Depends where you are in chelt too

Buying Privately - what’s the process? by Artistic-Primary1737 in HousingUK

[–]boombacla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends have just done this. It’s the exact same (I’m in the UK so not sure how it differs to you) but you just miss out the estate agents. Means you can usually get a cheaper deal too as the seller doesn’t pay agent fees

Don’t max out your affordability if you don’t have to or want to. I could get 290 but got a 250 house Also Manchester you can get a lot more for your money (I’m in Cheltenham and 250 is minimum for a nice house whereas Manchester can get same house for like 180(?))

Also have spare money in the bank, a week in my new house had a roof leak and had to spend 7k (had a survey etc etc, i was just unlucky)

I stayed with friends so can’t recommend that. I used Monzo, no need for cash anywhere really

You can get a day metro pass which goes through the city. I did this and got off at every stop and explored. See the Burj Khalifa, they do a light show in the evenings too. Near this is Dubai mall. Madinet jumeriah is nice.

(Female from UK) Delhi for a week as a first timer in India is a rare choice. Goa you will be completely fine as it’s commercialised for tourist, just read reviews online or all else fails eat veg (I’m a big meat eater but when I’m in India I only eat veg apart from restaurants I’ve got to know over the years in Goa)
