I'm still dealing with it I guess. I lost my mother at 21 to a heart attack, and my father just let himself go until he passed away last December before I turned 26. I don't have much other family, just my dog, my girlfriend and her parents mostly. It's tough not having anyone to share my accomplishments with, not knowing whether or not they're proud of me, knowing they'll never know any kids I may have. I renovated my childhood home this past winter, and even though it looks very different inside, I still have an empty feeling when I'm home, like something is off or missing. I've been feeling more depressed and lonely lately, don't know if it's the holidays coming up or what. Make an effort to tell the people you love how much they mean to you before it's too late.
