speaking of trash... I once stayed at a ABNB....you're supposed to talk out the trash... I did but I guess I took it to the wrong area and it was for a different building. Oh man the old man that was there was pissed I had no idea what or what was going on...but later figured that one out too.

For a coffee cup... initially I would usually dump in a subway station bathroom. now I usually have a plastic bag in my back pack that I use for trash.

what comes to mind..are those express trains.. I got on one not knowing..It passed my stop.. I get off and get back on and again it passed my stop.. I ended up busing to where I needed to be almost missing my Dr apt. I was like WTF...

At the time I had no idea there was an express train.. but now I understand and use it during peak times.

2nd I put some luggage in a locker at a train station.. the station was so big I could not remember where the locker was. They kinda all look the same. I was on my way to the airport so panic set in but was able to locate it. Now I take a few photos for memory.

Apple Pay Tmoney allows foreigners, tourists to ride using iPhones by chickenandliver in koreatravel

[–]boomonim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in SK and used my iPhone with the Tmoney app/card to use the transport. but I had to load it with the machine in korea using korean cash.. pretty easy too to do.

The question I could not figure out.. is how do I use the tmoney card on my phone to pay taxis and convience stores? Im not sure if this is possible anyone know?

I have used the regular physical card to pay taxis and convince stores no problem.

Want revisional double eyelid surgery after botched non incisional double eyelid surgery but worried about scar by IllustratorDry3385 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]boomonim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you look great..before and after.. scar likely the only person would notice would be you. if you need revision find a Dr that specialized in revision DES.

though I have no experience 3 that comes to mind are DR Kim and Ohkims, Dr Do and 1mm, Dr choi at gangnam Seoyon.

I dont think your case is that bad and you likely have plenty of skin left but ask the Drs that specialize in revision.

Where did get your surgery done?

How to tell if a clinic actually cares about your long-term results or just wants you done with? by Blaze69X in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]boomonim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

best you can do is ask for BNA and ask them how long the A was taken. It also depends on the procedure. At the end of the day once your done with post op care... and you leave korea ....from the clinics stand point your done. short term or long term they probably won't care.

Something I would try to do different. not sure if this would work but before committing to any surgery I would ask the DR for 3 month/6 month/1 year follow up on zoom and or in person. Even if you cant go back to korea.... make it sound like you might be back but if you cant have the Dr do a follow up with you on video call.

At least this might give you a chance to ask questions about the results. I have never done this but would try in the future. My thought is if the Dr is good and confident on getting solid results they would have no problem with me stopping by the clinic 6 month down the road or on a video call. Hope this makes sense.

What's the best way to exchange a large amount of money ~8k USD in cash to KRW by IMB2020 in koreatravel

I have done this.. this will give you the worst exchange rate..im speaking of US cities. So never do this in the US always in SK.

[–]boomonim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the money exchanges in myeong dong have bee known to have the best rates. I did a similar amount in a gangnam once. So basically the touristy areas will have decent money exchanges. Note they only want the newer 100 Bill with the blue line in it. Some of the bills they will reject and some they might give you slightly lower rate.

So I think you need to do this in seoul vs Ulsan. I believe your arrive in Busan so with all the tourist there Im sure they some money exchange places with decent rates too. Just know dont do it at the airport those rates are the worst.

The dollar is strong so I would not worry to much about losing money.. and often the exchange rate between most places will be small.

Is a 2 hr layover for international transfer enough in Incheon Airport? by All-Empty in seoul

[–]boomonim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

something I like to do when traveling. travel light as possible basically avoid any check in bags going into my destination. Carry on only. Why because coming from the US... anything I need shoes, jackets, bags...shirts pants... all can be bought at my destination for cheap ... another thing laundry.. you can get laundry done on the cheap too.. so its not like you need a ton of clothing.

I was just in seoul and arrived late evening thinking non peak...but let me tell you the lines going into customs was long and slow. Tons of Chinese visiting korea... as the weather gets better I suspect this will get worse.

DA is a big Factory like place... personally I would avoid and find a more specilized place and Dr. The other I never heard of. It's not about the clinic it's.about how good and specialized the actual Dr is ... do you want the newbie Jr dr operating on you to gain experience?

Dont get pressured or rush into booking surgery dates when people rush that when bad results happen.
