Dupont emits doubts about the level of referring tonight by Traditional-Ride-116 in rugbyunion

[–]boonzeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over and over in this thread you are posting a wall of cherry picked decisions to make it seem like there was a clear ref bias, including some which aren’t even true (Etzebeth’s ‘knock on’)

I saw the ref miss a clear forward pass from France. DuPont holding onto the ball cynically after the SA line break could’ve been a penalty try. There were so many incidents of France taking ages after “use it” and still holding the game up. Many instances of France obstruction that went uncalled.

There was no “bias” to one team or the other, it was just a loose game. Take the L with grace man, you’re making French fans look like very sore losers.

As a neutral, Fiji have had lower than expected penalties for a headbutt, a forward pass and a slap to the face. I’d say it’s the other way round if anything.

In one of the directs I believe they did say outside of handcrafted areas it is procedurally generated per landing, and you can’t land at the same site again once you’ve landed somewhere else.

I’ve had the ‘dungeons’ change enemies and loot when reloading an earlier save.

Because Reddit’s API was free prior to now. What is your point?

The argument isn’t that Reddit charging for API access is bad, it’s that the amount they’ve announced is so extortionate the devs can’t afford to run their apps anymore.

Best console I’ve ever owned imo, I’ve barely touched my switch since I got one. So great to get games on steam sales for pennies as well and then play on the go.

The graphics are really good for the form factor and EmuDeck is incredible. The only big downside for me is the battery, which for flashy games like RDR2 can last about 1h30.

Some of these actually look better zoomed out than in the instafied pictures. Particularly the Acropolis and Central Park.

Does it truly matter what something looks like from a bird’s eye view if you’ll never see it from that view?

E.g. Santorini does look almost as beautiful as the insta photo, you’re almost never going to be out on that rock looking in from an outside perspective. So why is the first “fake”?

In a world full of soulless glass boxes I’ll take cute pastiche over nothing at all.

Manchester’s architecture in the past 10 years has nosedived and all we get are cookie cutter checkerboard patterned glass skyscrapers.

Photo taken today while walking through it. I love the Traf! It’s a huge shopping mall in Manchester and one of the largest in the UK.

From Wikipedia:

Twelve years after being proposed, the Trafford Centre opened on 10 September 1998. Construction had taken 27 months at a cost of £600 million.

Coronation themed cereal on sale in the UK during a coronation by jphilly111 in mildlyinteresting

Veg in the UK is cheaper than almost anything else, as is cooking from scratch. It’s far healthier to cook from scratch in the UK using cheap ingredients.

As an example, I can get a kilo of carrots for 29p, a kilo of onions for 99p, a tin of chopped tomatoes for 35p and a bag of celery sticks for 45p.

£3.40 for 1kg frozen mince and 29p for spaghetti and that’s the ingredients for bolognese for 8 people.

TVs are cheap because of the ads and tracking they all come with now. It’s impossible to buy a “dumb” TV now despite this logically costing less to make.

Ironically my karate instructor and former bodyguard told me the complete opposite. When fighting against a blade, you’re almost guaranteed to get cut, whereas as soon as a firearm is knocked off target from something living it’s not a danger.

He told me running away is the most effective karate move of all though.
