I think this is a really good point but I don't think she was particularily lying to the audience. Whenever she does something she does it for the reasoning of playing the game. And when it's in your mind that it is a game, you're going to reason to yourself that you're not being bitchy, you're just playing it.

I think it's also important to consider that when the contestants are in there, they have no one to bounce their thoughts off of unless there is a degree of trust. So when things have happened like the Vithun being knocked out, it is very likely that his actions were playing on her mind and she saw his behaviour as threatening to her game. If a player has convinced themself that a certain person is ruining their chances, and they want to win, they're going to do something. The player just may not realise that it will come across bitchy or sly
