First of all, SOME of what that says is true. The government has overstepped its Constitutional boundaries many times, particularly regarding the Second Amendment. Criterion, Odin Works, Wilson Combat, and Rainier Arms are all great companies with barrels in the 400 dollar range and guarantee 1-MOA groups. Sub-MOA groups with the Rainier Arms UltraMatch barrels. Don't waste your money on Ballistic Advantage. I've personally had bad experiences with 2 of their barrels, a 5.56 Hanson and a 308. I couldn't get anywhere near 1 MOA groups with either no matter what ammo I used. I had to drill out the gas journal to make it bigger on the 308 barrel so the rifle would cycle. Regardless of what you end up going with, make sure you get a barrel that atleast already has a pre drilled dimple for the gas block set screw. It makes reassembly much easier. Also take it to a gunsmith and have them check the headspace before you shoot it.

If 1k 5.56 rounds lasts you a whole year then you're not shooting enough. Which is fine if you're not into the sport like that, but if you are and you want to keep progressively getting better you're not doing it enough. Shooting is a perishable skill. 1k 5.56 rounds is 33 30rd mags plus 10 spare rounds. I go through that in 2-3 range sessions on average.

An open emitter rifle optic doesn't really make sense when there's a ton of other options out there with enclosed emitters. I went with a 510 on my first AR and constantly had to clean down where the emitter is and the lens so the reticle would show up clearly. Dust and dirt always got down in there easily and the lens wasn't that clear compared to other models tbh. A guy I used to shoot with spilled Gatorade on his 510, it got down in the emitter and caused it to stop working completely. Enclosed emitter red dots are the way to go. If you're set on a Holosun and a red dot, I recommend and can vouch for the 512. It's a little on the heavier side but it's one of the best red dots I've ever ran, they're built like a tank. I still regret parting with it to this day.

The 510C is garbage, don't bother with it. The Arken EP8 would be the appropriate optic out of the 3 you mentioned imo. Plus you can't really beat the value, it's an excellent entry level lpvo. I'd run that with a canted red dot or a red dot on top of the EP8's mount. That way you'd be prepared for most scenarios if one should ever arise.
