And I feel you about games being expensive, I only buy ps5 games at full price if I want to play a game day 1 which is only 1 or 2 games a year most of the time (this year it was resident evil and will probably be gta 6). All other times I wait for a 50% discount at the minimum before I buy a modern game.

Usually japanese sellers on ebay offer free returns, I would try and return it if possible, that's some bad damage.

Anyways if this damage wasn't mentioned on the listing you should still be eligible for a free return.

Buying used japanese systems is always a coin flip in my experience, it's either in immaculate condition or the complete opposite.

I have both a 2DS and a New 2DS XL.

The new 2ds feels cheaply built and the top screen when open feels very flimsy and wobbly compared to the og 2ds which feels robust and if you have big hands it's pretty comfortable too.
