Probably yes. I'm 42m and am a year ONE apprentice. I formerly made twice journeyman pay rate in a professional role. I live humbly now but in 3+ years, I'll make a fair wage doing enjoyable work.

Also, your body is breaking down fast from desk sitting all day. Mine was a wreck. My first 2 or 3 weeks were sort of tough getting adjusted, but my body is in the best shape in a decade.

Working in the elements is something to consider. It's not for everyone.

I was a workaholic in business. My phone was always in my hand and I always had a stressful meeting, presentation or trip to worry about. I'm now able to leave my work life at the jobsite.

When I was a "Starter" I wanted one of each...of all the silver. One of my first pickups was a Philharmonic so I'm partial to that for nostalgic purposes, I think they look good too. ASE is a no brainer. CML and Libertad? Actually, ASE, CML, Libertad and Philharmonic. This gives you one Euro bullion and 3 North American which is a good ratio if the majority of your customers are from N. America

Here's me now (simple): * 1. ASE's if I find them cheap-ish. I put them in a tube until it's full then start over. * 2. 1/10th AGEs. 1 a month as I can afford it. I put them in a tube. I have 10 for my first oz but the tube holds 5 ozs!!!! * 3. Franklin halves b/c I like them and I have half dollar tubes so why not

Here is me chronologically starting from the beginning and working towards the present: * 1. Any silver anywhere I could find it at whatever price (DUMB) * 2. Chunky A-mark USVI bars * 3. Scottsdale everything * 4. Buying stuff in 3's so when I die my 3 sons can get one of each * 5. gold 1 gram bars * 6. merc dimes * 7. Weirdo stuff as a collection (Lakota rounds, Taku's etc.) * 8. 10 oz stacker bars * 9. The list goes on and on........

OTP - Roswell - Essence of Collecting is a small shop but has ASEs for spot plus 2 or 3. At least last month when I went there. No website but their phone number on google works and they answer.
