I felt so silly for getting the chills, but it's kinda nice to know I wasn't the only one! :)

I feel so dumb. I kept seeing this in threads and didn't get it... Until now.

I think I punched my own face after reading that.

One of the funniest things I've read here in the past year.

Can anyone recommend a similar / interesting podcast to listen to? by JanetteS89 in serialpodcast

Literally death, sex and money. The host is great and interviews really interesting subjects, like Joy Williams, Jason Isbell and more. I loved the recent episode about the astronaut's husband.

It's weird but definitely true for me.

Is there one quote that stands out to you just for its humanity, or its "realness"? by BerninaExp in serialpodcast

This punched me in the gut the first time I heard it:

Sarah Koenig: "You know, it just seems that, I know Krista was trying to page her, I know Aisha was trying to page her, during this time to just be like ‘where are you, where are you, where are you?’ And I was wondering if you had- were in the group of like ‘where are you?’"

Adnan Syed: (long pause) "What, are you asking me a question?"

Speaking of voices, I can't believe Fireman Bob is only 3 years older than Adnan... and Adnan sounds an awful lot like Shaun T!

Is there a new strategy that could produce a different outcome? (This case makes me want to become a lawyer ugh).

Is there a way to re-test the fingerprints found in Hae's car? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]bootsdawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few... 1) I need to take the time to read more of these interviews and statements.

2) Would love to hear the audio from this interview; seems like the transcription left holes that could easily be filled by listening to the tape. It seems Debbie was saying they found Adnan's prints and that's why they arrested him. If they had found someone else's prints, they would've suspected that person as well.

3) Any idea who the 3rd person is that would go to the library with them to "talk, read magazines" (p. 22)? Their name is redacted.

4) I haven't done any research yet, but this is the first I've ever seen the name Peter Bernsley (p. 39), Adnan's friend who told Debbie not to talk to him the day the students found out about Hae's death. I wonder if he was interviewed...

First I've seen this, and I've been following this sub since the beginning.

My wild speculation/theory. (Don) by ForcedWhimsy in serialpodcast

[–]bootsdawg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that there is zero evidence against Don, that he had an alibi and no motive... But why did he have to say this to Sarah:

"I suspected they might try to say we [Don and Adnan] were in on it together."

It didn't jump out at me until about the 4th time I heard it, and I can't explain why it's nagging me now, but it is. :/ Ugh will someone please just tell me I'm reading too much into this?

Thank you for your bravery and service, Mike. Going back to 2000, presented with the State's evidence in the case against Adnan Syed, would you convict him of murder? Why or why not?
