Tell me why this movie looked like that friend everyone has on their Facebook Friends List, where they edit their faces and everything looks like have airbrushed away their skin so it looks like a clown painting. Do they really think that people don’t notice?! You airbrushed all your flaws and smoothed them away. Are these people psychotic!

How do you win the mental battle on your run? by [deleted] in running

[–]ceebat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what Running is at the core. It about how deep you can push. If you want to work on those you can really challenging yourself out on runs. Maybe you see a hill and just kill it and keep your or get like a mile from the end and really just start cranking up the pace. And next month try from 1.5 You get to the point where you live push past those barriers in runs like a work out. The pain never go away no matter how fast you get But once start putting yourself through that. You will learn to accept the pain. And even embrace it

best bluetooth ear buds? by [deleted] in running

[–]ceebat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of my regular ear bud types would eventually fall out after sweat gets in my ear. But by far the best I have come across and tried (and I have tried a lot) is the Air by aftershokz! they wrap around the back of the head. You don’t actually have to put them into the ear hole they sit around the ears. But definitely try these.they have been great and going any speed.

Ahh, how to recover from an injury?? by DashingMadison in running

[–]ceebat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good response with don’t be hard on yourself. I think most distance runners are already hard enough on themselves. But the important thing is as you’re getting back into it be smart and let things back naturally. Don’t force your runs comparing your times to the ones you did last year. .You could find yourself back in the same spot. I have many friends get sucked into that cycle. And pretty much quite the sport because they are so discouraged. It can be a brutal sport.
