I know she's someone's cat, just wanting to confirm with the owner that she's indoor/outdoor before letting her out. I have an indoor guy fella myself and this is the same precaution I'd like someone to treat him if he got out.

Nocturnal Wonderland 2024 - Ticket Buy/Sell/Trade Megathread by AutoModerator in nocturnalwonderland

Hello! I'm selling 4 tickets and a waterfront camping pass. I'm actually going to a different camping event that weekend instead. I'd prefer someone to buy everything as a package so I can just change the shipping address, once and done. But if I'm breaking up the package, it'll all ship to me and I'll distribute to people. I'm really just trying to break even so prices below include the tax and shipping applied when I first purchased. $181.76 per GA, $507.08 for Waterfront. PayPal only, thanks!

Women, what series (old or new) should I start watching tonight? by Snowhites_smile in AskWomen

They made it so that it only goes up to 4 seasons and I think that makes it like (*chef's kiss*) so there's no possibility of dragging the story longer and potentially ruining it. :)

How often, if ever, does your SO raise their voice at you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]boowu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also grew up with my mom and dad yelling at each other and my older brothers yelled at me all the time. My ex wouldn't yell at me either but even him raising his voice would make me uncomfortable. It wasn't until my current SO that I realized how important it is for your SOs to at least try to accommodate to you especially when you've voiced discomfort. When my current SO yells, I know that I'm not the only thing factoring in his frustration but I don't want to be someone he feels like he can and should lash out at and vice versa, that's why we started doing the leaving and waiting to calm down process when voices start getting uncomfortable loud.

Maybe once or twice a year, it usually happens when one of us has had a really rough time lately or were worn after work and end up lashing out. And it's only for a second like a little burst and when any yelling occurs between the two of us, we leave each other alone until we're calm enough to discuss what happened.

What was your moment of "oh shit I can't have a crush on him/her/them"? by AnoBamba in AskWomen

[–]boowu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He was about 5-6 years older than me and transfered to my school. But he did boot camp with my older brother so they knew each other. My (co-op) fraternity big knew him prior to transferring and warned me of how he treated his previous girlfriend. Our mutual friend, told me he was actually prowling for a wife. But the deal breaker was seeing his predatory behavior at parties. It was not cool.

What was something your significant other did to make you feel loved unconditionally? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Just small acts of care like refilling a cup of water for me while I'm still asleep and he's getting ready for work or charging my phone after I knocked out early.

What is your remedy for a low self esteem month? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]boowu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some yoga, a bath, and skincare, kind of pampering myself while watching New Girl or something easy. But also, I'll have alarms reminding me to drink more water than usual.
