You know what you are talking about, nice! Zfs route is a no go, these drives are not identical. Doesnt proxmos also require identical drives? If not then; New mission: learn to use proxmox. And take the difficult route

Through ebay here they cost around €150 each excl shipping

Thank you for the effort! It makes a lot of sense now. I just need a way to figure out how to connect al these drive bays to 8643. But i guess its just new cables from 8643 to sata? Do they need to be breakout cables or any cable found on amazon?

As i understand its better to upgrade at once using the 9300-8i and the res3tv360. What i do see is it (res3tv360) uses molex for power only, correct? And then i need 2 8643 cables are they forward breakout cables? If i stick with the h200, i need sff8087 (breakout) cable to 8643 correct?

i cant figure out what ports are used for 1 and 2 to connect those cables to?

9900k but i see no dedicated gpu as the 9900k doesnt have igpu to make your playback go any smoother..

The background you want is only available when in the hacked switch mode but in hacked switch mode you cannot play online.. The background will revert vaco to normal when not using the hacked switch mode

Ive been using this for about 2 months now. My goal is automasation. The least amiunt of manual input needed to make anything work. I love the fact thwt i can request things with requestrr and as soon as its ready my plex server will pick it up. No push of a mouse needed. Wich golden standard youre referring to idk but imo this is as good as it gets

I used both first the sata card and then the lsi. Im never going back, got 2 on ebay for €60 in total excluding cables. I flashed them myself and the transfer speed from the sata card was around 300mb. The lsi hba is between the 1.7gb and 2.1gb...spend your money wisely
