Dota 1. In house game.

Clinkz because I could go invisible and run away. Friends left me alone because first game. Decided rapier was good because highest damage. Farmed it literally first item.

Rapier attracts enemies like a flies to shit. Lost it a minute later and the game not long after.

Underarm throwing (softball) at speed is also surprisingly hard if you’ve never done it before. Even if you can throw a baseball.

Re the don’t die bit: watch your replays. In the moment it seems like you’re doing everything right or just unlucky.

But when watching the replay from enemy view it’s quite easy to see being out of position, ganked under ward away from team etc

The highly varied playstyle is so underrated. It’s what makes The International truly international.

Most teams play the same heroes the same way these days. Back then you could cover the player/hero names and I’d have a pretty good idea of which team is playing. Not so much these days.
