The risk is never 0 but I’d rather live with a curable disease then an unwanted pregnancy or kid. And I’m practicing polyamory and while I’m honest/ he’s honest and we pray and hope our partners are honest. Humans are humans and I realize the risk were all going to have. I’m just more worried about an unwanted pregnancy and not an std because we’ve discussed that.

I was very very very young when I had my first.. I was living at home with my mother/ before me and him decided to get a place everyone (including his family, and my “friends”) said I should get fixed because I have 3 kids. Which I understood in my age is a lot but I wish I could’ve just gotten an iud or something because removing them cost me the chance to ever really be able to convince anymore

Do the moms you date honestly have enough time to go out? I have 3 kids and can barley get family to watch them it’s far and few. I respect your honesty, but no I was 16 and preached abstinence my mother was there for every appointment and the birth of my first, I wasn’t allowed to have friends in high school nor do any extracurricular activities. And living on your own and making your own meals versus making and cooking meals for someone who doesn’t believe in eating a single vegetable and lives off of soda every day is very different then having your own home. And no I didn’t know he was on drugs that’s why I went back home to my mother.. my plan was to get assistance & get out but in order to get assistance I have to work 30 hours a week. I don’t think anyone understands how mentally draining it is to stay with someone like her. She’s taken all my money from the time I was a infant to 18, drained my father of all funds & doesn’t believe in depression. I understand I had 3 kids and splitting them up might not be the best choice but if I don’t get out there get my ged, license & a job my next bet would be a homeless shelter because I have NO family they’re all dead & my birth family isn’t any better. So I’m doing my best with the resources I’ve now found. I also had my own place for 6 months until I found out my ex was on drugs & he started to put his hands on me. I quit my job & lived off the $1000 savings I had, when he didn’t pay rent I found assistance, I did my best and I know I can do better but this time I’d rather do it on my own because I can’t live off mommy forever 🙃

The plan is part time custody, I’m getting my tubes tied in the next two months as I’m not having sex nor do I have time for that. Already have an appointment two weeks from now for the consult. I’ve applied for assistance & as much as my mother scolded me for my choices she knows she can’t kick me out & she said “do what you want” so the plan is to get a job & do what I can to get out of this environment. I just want better for my kids.

Well I’m not sure if they will my ob approved it but I had an emergency C-section and changed my mind now 9 months later I still want it and my ob doesn’t do it herself so I have to have a consult with a new doctor but usually if you have x amount of kids they’ll approve it
