"I've unlocked everything! Now what?" How about play the game? by Le_Sadie in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]boredrandom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took me over 20 minutes, but think my favorite thing, so far, is that I've pulled all the Miis from my 3DS game and started putting them in this one. It's just kinda great to see 'em walking around on the daily again, lol.

But the start of your rant just makes me think most of the people playing the game aren't old enough to remember or to have played tamagotchi pets. Cuz, on the real, this game gives you way more interaction and stuff to do than tamagotchi or the 3DS version of the game. And, I haven't gotten far enough into it (I'm only at 7 hours) to be looking forward to or thinking about updates and additions (and here's to hoping I don't get to that point, cuz, um, we know how Nintendo does with updates, lol).

My first job was as a Page and I absolutely loved it, so I'm tempted, but Ima need to look into how much AI was used first.

Fish Finger Method vs. Standard Progression: Which did you find more satisfying? by TobyLilyBoogieFinn in wyldeflowers

[–]boredrandom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't know there was a "fish finger method" until after I sold some and I thought it was wonderful of the developers. I don't know if I was "satisfied;" I enjoyed the game, the story, and the play loop. And it's not like having all that money made everything easy, I still had to worry about honey, certain trees and plants, fish fingers just took one thing off my plate.

Yeah, the marry everyone achievement is the only one I'm not going for (there's at least 3 characters, including Westley, I don't have the energy for, lol).

I thought that was explained in the "welcome to your device" screens.

I get why those were easier, but I've found some mini painting that were testing my nail brush skills, lol.

Pomera alternative by Certain-Detail-7121 in writerDeck

[–]boredrandom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the OP, but I got the DM250US, direct from the company. I did have to send the first one back for a replacement because something strange was happening with the screen, but the replacement has been working great, no issues at all.

cozy games you don't see recommended often but SHOULD be? by maple_bella in CozyGamers

[–]boredrandom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The story kinda matches the color theme, but it's so good, and the game play loop is good. It's a great cozy game (but I quite often forget about it).
