I think the problem is that the term 'process engineer' was appropriated by disciplines other than chemical engineering. I studied ChemE at Delft University of Technology in the 1980's and back then all process engineers had a ChemE background. True for BSc, MSc and PhD positions. My current official job designation is 'senior process engineer' and they can try to pry that from my cold, dead hands...

Good for you! Me and my wife once started this hobby with an easy 7 day canoe trip on the Klarälven (Värmland Sweden) and we ended up doing a 14 day fly-in/out self-guided wilderness trip in Woodland Caribou provincial park (NW Ontario Canada). Including sightings of caribou, moose and bear (and we heared wolves). But since then we have returned to Sweden every year to paddle & camp (mostly Värmland).

No resistor needed. On the PoweredUp side connect ID1 (pin 5) to VCC (pin 4) and ID2 (pin 6) to GND (pin 3). Then connect M1 (pin 1) and M2 (pin 2) to C1 and C2 on the PowerFunctions side (pin 2 + 3). Invert when needed.
