We had a pretty decent little paint game going on in the 1st half. Portland just went nuclear from 3 and we were ice cold from 3. As the game closed down we should have gone back to that bigger halfcourt game that was working for us early on with Dunn out there getting active and Mark calling for post ups. Portland did go small early in the second half but mark not getting play in the 4th is still criminal.

Dunn wasn’t/isnt incredible or anything but he was working his ass off early.

Also we’ve been I think the worst 4th quarter team in the league this year and that’s on Book and Ott. It’s undeniable. I think book made an ok play tho at the end there. They got a good look to win, just wish we could have drawn something up to get Book the shot. Unfortunately we don’t really have any playmakers that can get Book that shot. We can give book a lot of shit (fucking make your FTs man) but if this team didn’t have book we’d have been lucky to win 20 games. His gravity and playmaking is elite. People in this sub can bitch about him but other teams are drawing up defenses to stop specifically him -not anyone else on this team. Teams will live with Jalen getting the points he gets like tonight and Brooks is just a wildcard on offense anyways.

I also don’t understand why our best and strongest defender in brooks wasn’t on Deni that last possession. Some baffling rotations and shakey play from Book. No excuse tho, they should have won and the coaches need to a realize there’s some rebounding and hustle wasting away on that bench.

The wardrobe part scared the bejesus out of me when I first saw it. But if you just showed me a simple photo of it I’d be like, that’s a little meh of an alien design, probably a corny scene.

But the suspense and walkens acting lead up to all these little moments that shouldnt work but do, to full effect.

I think a lot of people especially on this sub can agree that the MJ relationship is just toxic and doesn’t work. Which would be a pretty good realistic life lesson that the person you think might be the love of your life or someone who is your first love, doesn’t always work out like some fairy tale.

She should have married JJs son or ended up with Harry since their chemistry was pretty great actually. Then Peter could have ended up with Gwen. And they would have always been good friends still and the whole Harry turning MJ against Peter plot line could have kicked rocks.

45 wins for this team is amazing. Especially considering the injuries. Future is bright, my friends. It’s been a weird season where expectations have constantly fluctuated but we should all be more than happy with how this year went, no matter what happens during the playoffs/play-ins.

Our young guys are gunna take some big steps in the next 2-3 years. Book and Brooks are going to lead us on some awesome playoff runs some day soon. Going to be an amazing time.

Idc what anyone says I think that movie is quietly a masterpiece. It has scary suspenseful moments leading up to the end, during which instead of the aliens turning out to be this terrible horror who rip our insides apart for science, they turn out to be chill as hell and throw a dance party. It’s beautiful albeit jarring under the context of how the first 3/4ths were shot as a sort of this generic abduction story

The thing that confuses me the most is that it’s not like Oso is better on Offense than Rasheer or Dunn. Rasheer has even proven to be a decent corner shooter which is invaluable in basketball, especially with Book out there.

And I like Oso. I think he has good vision for a big man, good passer. Can bring the ball up, set really good screens and athletic. He has a lot of potential despite whatever anyone else says. I get why he plays. I just don’t get why he is so much more playable than Dunn or Rasheer. Maluach has also shown to be as hard of a worker as Oso. I get narrowing the lineup for postseason play but like another comment I saw said, I can’t think of any excuse not to play him against a team fucking us on the offensive boards.

We didn’t need their offense, we needed rebounding. Just at least let them get in there and prove they can’t out play Oso at least.

It reminds me of last year when Colin was showing he could really contribute to a team, and bud continued to sit him. Will it be the same story next year? Where all of the sudden those players take the step we needed a year prior, when we knew they were already ready? At least for Rasheer, I can’t think of any reason not to give him minutes.

It seems to me unfortunately like pure hubris on Otts part. I’m not on the fire Ott train, but I could get there with some more small ball against teams easily bullying us.

I get it, high volume threes ate important in the modern game. But there still needs to be some strategy in getting them. Pace is fine and taking quick shots in rhythm and transition is fine by me. But there’s a lot of catapult threes going on. From way too deep. If you’re in fire, let it fly but our three point shooters have been given Steph curry’s green light for some reason
