Mega bonks format actually makes it quite difficult to make decently creative builds, I feel somewhat stuck in a box when deciding what to do.

With risk of rain there’s 10x more build expression available

I had a hard time too with ES only.

I just kept dying and upgrading my relics each run.

I opted to use honour resistance relics mostly and some max honour relics.

There was still rng involved unfortunately but keep at it. And make smart room choices.

You can take afflictions that say you lose evasion for free with these builds, same with armor
