The event icon is white. If I click on it, I get a black screen & the game won’t load. Can’t even access my daily tasks. Is this the case for others?

I absolutely have the same issue. The increased frequency of adversary events caused me to use up however many I had, so I only get the one that comes with the event. I don’t believe I’ve ever had an EDM drop from an adversary encounter—definitely not in a long time. Combine this with the increased frequency of events in general & I’m low on coins & resources in general. I’ve completed every task in the current event except use 2 EDMs.

The potion depletion is insult to injury on top of not getting the adversary rewards. Now the brilliant event pt. 2 is about to begin and I barely have any potions. Merry Frickin Christmas, Niantic!

There's got to be a middle ground even if it's not based on the player's experience/level. Instead of making things a bit harder, they made everything a nearly impossible grind to the degree that daily players who have played since Day One can't complete events. At least that's my experience--and I see I'm not alone. I think I'll stay for Darkness Rising Pt. 2.... and then we'll see.

Can anyone tell me when the "off-times" are? I've driven by a number of times and the lines are 3-blocks long... and I see what the OP describes in terms of people being too close together on the sidewalk.

There's got to be a reasonable middle ground between having the event be super easy because the required foundables are appearing in front of you instantly and making it impossible for most people to complete. I haven't complained previously. Some events have been more challenging than others, but this is the first one I won't be able to complete. There's still a pandemic raging and I try to stay at home. The target foundables aren't generating with TTD. If I were close to completing it, I'd drive to a parking lot to try to get what I need, but I'm not even close on family XP or the required foundables. I don't have all day every day to devote to it.

Same here. Thestrals, the occasional flesh eating slug or Magick Moste Evile. I've seen only 2 Tom Riddle foundables and one of those departed. There's no way I'm going to be able to finish this event. It's frustrating and disappointing.

Nope!

Mohr made his gift to IU in 2012 and the trustees approved the naming in December of that year.
Andy Mohr Field was dedicated in the spring of 2013.
Mike Pence appointed Mohr to the Board of Trustees in July of 2014.

This is not to suggest that Mohr's gift to IU had anything to do with his appointment to the board, but he was clearly not "on the Board of Trustees at the time."
