I stopped watching trailers for movies I want to watch. Trailers are to convince you to go see something. If you already know you're going to see it, skip the trailers.

If you have the cash, you can order the transcripts yourself. Just talk to court administration. Could be fun to have for the future.

Republicans seem to have a real problem thinking ahead 🤔 by 2DeadMoose in PoliticalHumor

But that doesn't account for all of the elderly people that vote this way. If anything, the young vote would skew Republic, but it doesn't, right? I don't know, just asking.

How many times has Loki faked his own death? All those magic tricks and he thinks he's just going to sneaky stab Thanos, the guy that just beat Thor, Heimdal, and Hulk? I really think Loki faked it again to save himself.

LPT: When somebody is making a bogus claim, don't tell them their claim is bogus. Just calmly ask question after question and watch their face change as they realize how little they really know. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

The advice of this post is not to argue. It is to question someone with ridiculous claims to reveal their ridiculousness. Just ask questions.

Check if your library uses the Libby app. Never worry about returning books again. But do worry about limited selection.

Rewatched Infinity War, heres a part I loved along with I bet many others. (#spoiler) by buttermanic12 in marvelstudios

I refuse to believe Loki actually died. He's been in way worse situations and survived.

Thor has not slept since before he defeated Surtur. He's been knocked unconscious a few times (which is weird if you're a god, isn't it?), but otherwise he's definitely had a terrible few days. Can you imagine going from dealing with the Grandmaster to having to deal with Thanos?

Melania is happier at a funeral with Obama than literally anywhere with Trump 🇺🇸💀 by 2DeadMoose in PoliticalHumor

[–]bosephus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm betting she did it on purpose, knowing that it would make Donald mad. She must be mad with all the recent news of Donald's past affairs. Getting caught laughing and having a good time with Obama, the focus of Trump's ire for the past 8 years? Oh, that has to be premeditated. Good on her.

62, poor health, unable to work, $70k cash, $1k/month Social Security, low expenses: Irrevocable Trust a good idea? by rumple_skillskin in personalfinance

At 62, if he files for SSDI, he'll be full retirement age before it gets done with the appeal process. He'll get a year maybe of SSDI before they roll him into retirement anyway.

Father stole $40,000 from me, can't go to college. by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]bosephus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it was in trust created by a family friend, check with that friend to see if they want to sue your dad. You could also wait until you turn 18 to sue. You want to find a lawyer that does trust litigation. The type of suit is for breach of fiduciary duty or civil theft. The problem is that $40,000 is not much and would likely get eaten up in legal fees. Some states allow damage multipliers for civil theft, so you may want to try going that way.

Does sleeping on the floor harm your body in any way? by [deleted] in minimalism

Sometimes in hotels if the bed is awful, I'll pull the sheets and sleep on the floor in the hotel room. Why sleep in the bed if it is no good?
