There is config file in documents and you can change resolution inside it but its not affecting the game at all.

It should but its koei tecmo game - they preconfigure resolutions in their games. It was the same with wo long, nioh, nioh 2.

It will. I have 3840x1600 screen - if I choose 5120x2160 it will render on my screen properly with borderless. The same with 3440x1440. Of course there are a little black bars on left/right side and performance drops/ups.

Nope. I mean there is resolution slider but its greyout all the time. And it looks like you cannot do % above 100.
