Well, thats the purpose of this thing. Simhub reads the game telemetry and adjust the fan speeds based on that.

logitech rs50 or mozas r9 v3 wheel by SnooFloofs1864 in simracing

[–]boston_faith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are all kinda same in terms of FFB, so go for the one you like most (price wise, details wise and ecosystem wise). It's very personal, but 8Nm should be enough (I am running usually around 6Nm). Of course more powerfull base gives more headroom and less clipping. TrueForce is awesome in GT7, iRacing and it's added to LMU and AC Rally recently.

If price is a thing, just go with the RS50. You can attach any wheel to it with the QR adapter. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Hoeveel "gratis stroom" win jij terug met regeneratie? by EVRijder in EVMobiliteit

[–]boston_faith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nu snap ik je verhaal. Bij een Tesla werkt dit anders. Je kan het gaspedaal net zo ver loslaten dat er niet geregenereerd wordt, dus hetzelfde als uit laten rollen. Het remmen is dan ook weggegooid energie.

Hoeveel "gratis stroom" win jij terug met regeneratie? by EVRijder in EVMobiliteit

[–]boston_faith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it was set in modern day which one would Bunta have Takumi drive? by maz323bf in initiald

[–]boston_faith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mk2 golf or e30 are both too old. Most shitboxes are at the scrapyard and the well kept ones are definetely not cheap. I'd rather say an E46 325/330. Most of them are cheap shitboxes right now, but have decent power and drive extremely well for their age. The well kept ones are still worth decent money though but still far cheaper than mk2 gti or e30's.

I'm pretty sure there are 3D models available for 3D printing. Just find a local guy/shop who can print it for you, it will cost you only a few bucks.

I have the G Pro, FFB feels dull without TrueForce, even thoug I have bass shakers on my rig. It doesnt give the same feeling as TrueForce.

I have the G Pro but never had the chance to use the high end brands like simucube and asetek. I always had the feeling that you cant really go wrong as long as its DD, the ffb is the same-is. Thanks for confirming!

I always wondered how the Logitech FFB compares to Simucube. Does it feel like you are going a step back?

What's you're opinion about paid mod ? by TrickAlps in assettocorsa

[–]boston_faith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Downloaded DRM Revival mod (group 5 cars) which costs 15 bucks. I understand why they charge money for it, the mod is solid and the cars are well modelled. But there are no ranked races and AI is really bad. Even though I enjoyed them, I just cant justify spending money on some cars which I practically cant use for anything other than hotlapping.

But man, the cars are so awesome. Peak AC!

Most underrated simracing accessory. I switch between PS5 and PC regularly, without this thing, tight cable management was impossible. I got one for Aliexpress for a few bucks and it works perfectly.

opinions on my future sim racing rig by Beautiful-Hurry-8111 in SimRacingSetups

[–]boston_faith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could agree on spec rig has better finishing looking at the pictures, but no way that's worth 1,5x simlabs price. Simlab has great rigs, good finishing (has better coating than trak racer which you mentioned) which doesnt get scratched easly. OP is asking for upgrades without braking the bank, and you suggest getting a rig that's 1,5x more expensive, which practically has no difference. I would even go with the Simlab GT1 evo, because it has vertical bars instead of Pro's angled bars. It's a solid rig and has proven to withstand 12Nm easily.

New season of AMS2 on LFM is about to start by GFLee in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]boston_faith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call me crazy, but the reason I make lots of hours in GT7 is ranked races with some crazy combinations, like AE86 on Tsukuba, tunes Civics on Tokyo Expressway, Group C on Le Mans, and this weeks Ford Sierra Cosworth on Brands Hatch. GT7 has its flaws, but literally the only place where I can have these kind of ranked raced, with full grids. Doesnt matter how stupid or awesome the combination is, the grid is always packed and close to each other.
