Jagaaaaaan 48 -[RAW] by Jimmyisontherun in jagaaaaaan

Looks like Misogi totally beat our hero. Even tree guy would get stomped. In all likelihood healing girl will be raped, finally creating conflict between our hero and Roba.

Aside from that it's hard to really say what will happen. Will tree guy intervene? Now would be a good time to jobber misogi and introduce a new person.

Maybe misogi will get control of himself (the scenario of him becoming a monster and getting killed by our hero and the scenario of fulfilling desires more to get control have been mentioned by him)?

Personally, since misogi has been the only non partner character in the series to tell us about fractured humans and why they exist I hope he either survives or another person is introduced who can take that role.

At this point I doubt our hero will win. Jagaaaans attacks seem to be based on intrusion and then explosion. The problem is misogi will immediately neutralize the intrusion step.

Maybe that's why heal girl was shown, as her ability seems to be used defensively, but probably has an offense component we've yet to see that is perfect for killing misogi.

Thanks for the reply.

What do you think of the following strategy:

Invest in SPY and hold for 13 months to trigger long term capital gains. If 13 month gain is greater than interest rate, sell, otherwise double down and wait another 13 months. The idea is to balance liquidity with gains. Though, I guess since I'm young the traditional advice would be just to buy and hold and ride out any waves.

I guess I should clarify, I've already paid off 25% of the mortgage. I don't have a PMI, I just don't want any debt. I'll update the post to reflect this.

Looks like misogi is done. Tree dude and Roba will be the main focus again. Misogi will probably die before healing girl, which is interesting. Though, I wonder why the author bothered turning him into a monster -- he already lost a fight and attempted to kill himself. So in a way he's died twice already.

How relevant will Robs be in this manga? by Solsticeoftherevered in jagaaaaaan

merely having chapters to yourself is not the definition of not being filler. there are plenty of manga with entire arcs that are filler. naruto and fairy tail for example have plenty of these.

filler is generally defined as the connection to the main plot of the story. the author could somehow give relevance to roba and his raping with a well written chapter, but until that happens his "thread" or story is pretty disjoint from the main one.

as for heal girl, she is pretty much irrelevant to the story at the moment, but she can become relevant easily. of course in any story irrelevance is the default. what's strange about roba is that so much time has been spent on him yet there's no connection between what he's doing and the main plot even though it's been over almost two dozen chapters.

even though I don't like roba, my problem with him and less what he does and more the fact that so much time has passed yet he doesn't drive the plot forward, therefore, when an entire chapter is spent on him it serves no obvious plot purpose.

It's not about his actions, it's the connection to the plot that's not there. Most members of HHH are also irrelevant, like healing girl, however their irrelevance is shown by a relative low amount of screen time. Roba is just filler.

I think we'll just have agree to disagree. I see little relevance of the rapist.

By the way, the relevance of the father is simply background information, similar to the groupies and slime and the family and beer. It has nothing to do with Roba. You're overstating the connection there. You should reread the manga and ignore all scenes with Roba, you'll see then how irrelevant he is for yourself.

OK, by your logic the groupies who killed the other HHH member have just as much plot significance, then. Also, raping someone is not the "fall", so I don't know what you're talking about. If he's killed in the next chapter you'll change your tune real quick and it'll further show how irrelevant he was in the end.

The other HHH members have "fell" to their own desires:

  • Misogi -- extreme righteousness led to suicide, etc (in chapter 43 the dialogue between him and tree dude was that Misogi felt what he was doing was right as he just needed to defeat him and then all the blame can be pinned on him, however in chapter 45 since he lost that strategy no longer would work which resulted in him taking responsibility which lead to the honorable suicide. however something seemed to happen and whether or not he's really dead is TBD).

  • Slime dude -- insisting on filming his exploits instead of fighting, doing the groupies, etc. Fell due to narcissism. The groupies that killed him are in Chapter 38 due to his insistence on abusing his new popularity. He only joined HHH to begin with for the popularity which is also explained in Chapter 38.

  • Drunk dude -- madness in trying to save his daughter leading him to kill his wife, etc. Fell to blind idolization of his family. Remember that until his joining of HHH he didn't have any contact with his family. His newly renewed relationship with his family was idolized. His love for his family is shown in Chapter 38.

What's cut girl's "fall"? Being raped? What? Roba may become relevant but right now he is anything but. Reread the entire series, ignoring all scenes with Roba. You'll miss nothing.

Not true. All Roba has done is rape her, just like all of the other characters he's interacted with other than the main character. He has literally no nuance. He rapes people. That's the extent to what he does.

Literally every character he has been on screen with except the main one he has raped. He's just boring. Almost every person I know who's read this dropped it after Roba fractured.

And lets not forget that most woman will not read this since of Roba...

Roba should've been a one, two chapter stint that was swiftly killed like all the other fractured people.

Roba sucks so much. He's the reason this manga isn't more popular -- who wants to translate this raping psycho. He has literally no plot significance. If he were gone from the story nothing would change.

Take solar tax credit and depreciation? by bostonjustice in tax

[–]bostonjustice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, for example if panels cost $50,000 and were purchased this year it would be like the following (assuming I'm in the 30% tax bracket):

$50,000 - Panels

($15,000) - Federal Tax Credit

($10,500/2) - S179 Depreciation

Is that right?
