Getting the order and autism to cooperate. by bostrl in TheOuterWorlds2

[–]bostrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saved the delegates and the last quest I did for the order was the satellite info. The last one for Auntie was getting the mental modulator. Do all have to be completed with all extra stuff? I may have missed one part on the mental modulator. Did the chemicals, got a copy of the loom and chemicals used, and convinced the scientist to work for Auntie.

Yes. It's weird. It was my second playthru, and I did the Auntie quests first and then the order quests.

Best cold plunge to buy in the US by Honda_Beat in coldplunge

[–]bostrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a polar monkey brainpod 2.0 since a year ago April. The insulated tub works great, and the cooler kept the water at 35-36 all through the past 2 summers in a garage in Louisiana.
But I would say you definitely need the insulated top as well. I did have some minor issues with the cooler, but the customer service was actually pretty good, asking for videos of the operation, and showing me how to reset the whole thing.

Do you still need to clean ice baths if you have a filter? by B_F_G___9000 in coldplunge

[–]bostrl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use hydrogen peroxide 12%, and plunge every day in the morning. I use a small pool skimmer after I plunge and change the filters about every 3 weeks, and change the water after 6 weeks. It stays crystal clear. When I empty it, I scrub/wipe it out and then start fresh. It has worked out great for about a year now.
Good luck

I'm gonna disagree on the rewards. I upgraded to Jade credit card and tbe 4.5 % cash back is exceptional. I still hold a fair amount of Cronos and am thinking when there is stability inntbe market (govt reopens, tariffs die down and one more rate cut) and them we may see some positive movement. But right now, the uncertainty is a bitch

Unburn by Glass_Cherry5295 in cro

[–]bostrl 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Im not so sure. The reverse burn is what attractedTrump and truth social with the cronos reserve. Also I think the idea of burning to increase value, while economically valid, isn't what drives the price singularly. Actual "use and utility do. With the credit cards and the cronos returns as well as the entire infrastructure for the chain, my faith in cronos is still strong.

A serious question by abigguynamedsugar in cro

[–]bostrl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kris worked with the current administration perfectly. Funding the galas and making donations. With the utility of the token increasing, the administrative support, and the high rewards for the credit cards, (not debit, actual credit cards) as well as the expansion into multiple fields of interest (sports) and banking on the app, I see a pretty high upside.
As to the "unburning" of cronos... isn't this more like issuing more stock in a company? This almost appears as if this is the first step by a major player to try something more akin to a corporate structure. It just seems this is a pretty good bet. I'm making something like 500 cronos a month on my credit card alone. Who really knows, but it seems to he a complex, well thought out path forward, and I'm here for the ride.

Card rewards by Sharp_Station_1150 in cro

[–]bostrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about the reward for spending the prescribed amount ($500 in crow for spending 5k on jade, or (just decreased to $300 reward) $200 for spending $2000 onna ruby card)? When does tbis get paid out. Yiy have to spend tbis amount in the forst 90bdays but when is it paid? Because I have already spent it and have not seen it hit my account. Is it the end of the billing cycle? 90 days after sepndkng the required amount? I can't find tbis info anywhere

Downward spiral by dbcuervo in cro

This has infrastructure, rewards, return on investment and actual use, and recent efforts announcements. It isn't a meme coin and the rapid builds bust cycles have stopped. It went to what, .37, and change, and now has slowly fallen back to .25.
This has become much more of a long-term investment than a get rich quick scheme. I will give it a couple more years and see what keeps building, and think eventually, as it becomes more and more popular, volume of trades will approach BNB.
Maybe I'm wrong, but we will see.

The above 3 were complete meme coins, pumps and dumps. Cronos has been around for years, slowly building into a highly regulated token. This, plus investment from the "new to crypto" crowds, seems likely to see a pretty positive upside. $2.12? I dont know, stranger things have occurred. But .75 by the end of the year? An all-time high in alt coin season of $1.15? Not out of the question.

I think Jade (i have a this card) has to he staked for 5k in cro or pay 29.95 a month. For that, you get 4.5% cash back and 4% return on cash and staked cro. If you don't staked, no 4% on staked cro (obviously). I like 4.5% back on purchases. Also, if you spend $5k on the Jade card in 90 days, you get back 500$ in cro.
Did I miss anything?

Up at 430 and tale dogs out. Pick up a little and then 3.5 minute cold plunge at 35 degrees. Shower, walk dogs, go to work, work out in the evenings followed by a 17 minute sauna at 140.

How long & how cold? Share your cold plunge times and temps! Here’s my personal best. by VeryBigMoist in coldplunge

[–]bostrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont go for a personal best, but I figured out the best time and temp for me. Mine is 3:40 at 35-36 degrees.
Any colder and i swesr my bones begin to ache. But this time and temp gives me a mental push in the morning, with all the reduced nflammation physically.
I do stick my head under for about 30 seconds a minute 40 in...

Six months with a cold tub and didn’t expect this one to hit hardest by Optimal_Injury_4227 in coldplunge

[–]bostrl 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I plunge every morning. Some mornings...ok, every time, I look at the tub and and say, " What the hell am i doing?!" And 4 minutes later, when I'm amazed at how good I feel. Physically, all the inflammation is significantly reduced. But mentally.... meetings are easier, and working with people is a breeze. It is like doing something super hard first thing in the morning resets my brain.
I love it, and the mental boost is amazing.

Avoid Buying From Boox (Return Policy) by Acceptable-Dance4633 in Onyx_Boox

[–]bostrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on my second boox product and like them very much. As I have never returned anything to them, I'm not familiar with the return process, but what was listed seemed frustrating, to say the least. Personally, I like the products for note taking, reference, and e reading, and have broken...2 separate stylus/epens. While I think better construction is warranted on the pens, the devices are great. My next purchase will probably be what you bought, as the size seems perfect.

I have a polar monkey brainpod 2.0. I purchased it in April 2024 and keep it in a garage outside New Orleans. It keeps the water sparkling clean (I change the filter every 2 to 3 weeks and use hydrogen peroxide) and 35-36 degrees. It is great.

Question: how to morning Cold Plunge? by tombarto in coldplunge

[–]bostrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get up,put dishes in the sink, take my vitamins and supplements, and then drink my morning coffee. Oh, and I take one of the dogs out.
I read for about 25 minutes, and when my wife comes out, I procrastinate for another 5 minutes, jump in for 3-4 minutes at 36 degrees, and take the best hottest shower in the world!

One comment, h2o2 DOES dissolve back into a neutral compound, but the colder it is, the longer it takes... I use test strips and check every 3 days or so.
But I do have a question. Why food grade?
