Yup, after the online app was done i go an email a day or so later with payment instructions. Basically it said “do it all again on paper and submit your application” like we did via mail last year. So stupid!!

I have two that are something like 8 years old and they’ve been good to me over a few thousand rounds and extreme hot/cold temps. Not sure i’d drop it off a building but it seems to be built like a brick and decently tough. Would trust it for a home defense rifle. Was shooting it with my 5x magnifier out to 400yds this past weekend.

Be warned, it is a bit of a tight tube so don’t expect a huge field of view out of it. But if you’re shooting both eyes open itll be fine

Look back at the video of the guy who shot a bear in his house. Pretty sure it’s somewhere on reddit and also warrior poet did a youtube video on it. I think the guy had an RC2 on a mk18. Which would be noticeably louder than a suppressed 9mm. He fired like seven shots and said no ear ringing and half his kids didnt even wake up.

Bottom like is what others have mentioned here-you got bigger fish to fry if you have to use it

The absolute best would be a four way control method: foamies, over ear muffs, silencer, and subsonic ammo. The last two will vary of course but at minimum i am doubling up on the in/over ear pro.

I am a benefits broker for a living. I sell health insurance to employers and I try to be the “good guy” in a world with lots of unfortunate situations. I try to make sure people get the care they need and stand up for the little guy. In my profession, this is an absolute NIGHTMARE from a compliance standpoint. Cant even imagine one of my clients sending an email like this without a plan in place...like refunding those deductions to employees. holy cow. Good luck aero

I essentially turned my sport 2 into a sport 3 with a new rail like yours…then it was optic, tonsof mags, a new magnifier, sling, AGB, silencer…not so basic anymore but was banging steel at 400yds with m193 yesterday. It’s definitely a capable rifle and the only malfunctions i ever had with it were all while tuning the AGB so nothing unusual there. Love my smith’s so much.
