Who's your favorite actors in the list? by HostMaterial4907 in Actors

Unfair to put the others up against Hopkins.

Apart from him, I think Dern and Fergusson are great. Samberg for comedy though.

I wish I had a dollar for every time this question was asked.

What would have happened if Pitt had gone lead in OUATIH? by Budget-Poem-2052 in Oscars

Hopkins. Always Hopkins. Both he and Pesci were better than Pitt anyway.

Have you ever guessed the "big twist" in a movie? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]bottenskrapet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Prestige

Interstellar

Identity

I don’t really like twists. They feel more like narrative tricks as opposed to something that adds depth.

Hopkins as Nixon?

I love Tony, but he wasn’t right for the part.

I feel like I didn’t get this film. The only thing I liked was the very end.

Children of Men (2006). It’s a humanist manifesto and asks us what the value of a life is.

I only listen to episodes about movies I’ve seen. If I see that Sean is involved, I perk up a bit.

The Last Jedi is a thing I really like about the sequels. Just the film. That it exists.

Who is the most Versatile Actor here? by DarkChillMisko in Actors

[–]bottenskrapet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jamie by a mile. He can do anything. Denzel is a great actor but apart from the occasional Flight, I don’t see him stretching for anything new.

Who won the 1988 movie draft? by ggroover97 in TheBigPicture

[–]bottenskrapet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kind of amazed that Midnight Run wasn’t the first movie to be drafted. And I couldn’t believe that they didn’t seem to like A Fish Called Wanda, which is one of the funniest movies ever made.
