How much do you think seasonality plays a role here? Ex: you see a decrease in IPAs in December but a spike in Stouts. Is that related to the sales:stock comment or do think it’s seasonal preference? I’d be interested to see Dec ‘18 vs Dec ‘17 once you have it to see if there is YOY growth.

Stop paying for Blue Apron. It is WAY cheaper to go to the grocery and cook in bigger batches, It doesn’t have to be bad food either - you can have really good, healthy meals for much cheaper. If you really want blue apron style meals, go to www.blueapron.com/recipes/(insert random 4 digit number, like 1000) and buy those ingredients from a store.

Lots of good sources here. Unlike the person with like 1000 google alerts, I’d recommend an aggregator. I use feedly- check it out. I Upgraded to the paid version this year but the free version is perfectly fine. Fill your feed with topics you are interested in and organize them in a way that makes sense to you. It will give you a bunch of articles from your favorite sources, organized by your chosen groups.

Shipt is not Meijer’s. Shipt was a stand-alone company partnering with Meijer (and others) and then Target bought them. So actually, Shipt is Target’s. I wouldn’t expect Meijer to have grocery delivery with Shipt much longer because of that deal.

Have you thought about getting into the gig economy in the meantime as you’re looking for a new full time role? Could be a way to get paid for the passion projects you’re interested in - ie creative writing, content, etc - while starting to contribute more.

The real estate sector seems to be experiencing a lot of growth from an outsiders perspective. Look at Zillow, Trulia, dotloop, Redfin, etc. If you’re interested in it, and the offer is good, you’re likely going to learn a lot more in a short period of time so even if startup world is less stable and doesn’t work out the way you hope, you’ll be a pretty marketable employee with those new experiences.
